Stepped back in time

I had a room in the main house, built in the 1860s and loved it. They tried to keep some of the old world charm in the room with a huge tall queen size bed with a big pile of pillows, original cast iron radiator and even the slightly squeaky wood floors under the carpet. If you love old houses like i do, you'll love the old timey atmosphere. With mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room you also had your modern touches. It was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent renovated vintage motel

Excellent stay in this renovated vintage motel. Colonial style with rocking chairs under the porch, vintage bed cover with a mix of new furnitures and antiques. Full of charm and great stay.

This place is “The Country Inn” of good old American. Give you comfort as staying at granny’s place and warm feeling during your stay. I’ll definitely be back there whenever I have a chance.

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Bed and pillows were awesome. Slept like a rock. I've stayed in many of the higher priced B&Bs in the area and prefer this place by far. Décor is quaint and quirky. Shower was excellent....and we stayed in the lowest tier room. Staff was very patient, kind and helpful. Only stayed one night but will certainly be back for a longer stay. Oh, and the farm fresh eggs are a great deal too.... real hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised.

Cozy, clean, safe, convenient, friendly

I stayed here for a night while exploring nearby reservoirs, lakes, and hiking trails. The room was clean and comfortable, easy parking, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning sunlight drinking my coffee. Helpful, friendly staff. Several food options in Grand Gorge itself, or in nearby towns within a ten minute drive. In-room microwave and fridge make dining more flexible.

Gem of a place in Grand Gorge

This is a gem of a place in the tiny village of Grand Gorge! It was easy to find and a very good value. I especially appreciated the great customer service we got. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They care about their property and the people staying there very much. Highly recommend if you are in the Catskills! I would also recommend Pizza Plus just down the block if you are looking for a good, filling lunch or dinner that doesn't cost a fortune.

The owner was nice and the property had exactly what we needed for the right price. The bathroom was nicely updated, and the beds were clean with comfortable pillows. It’s not a rockstar hotel with all the bells and whistles but it has a homey feel for a nice night stay.
