"An affordable place to stay while we wanted to explore the Woodstock area. Breakfast is nice and there is a bar and a restaurant that is okay. The bartender wasn't attentive at all, but we were just looking for a drink prior to going to our room for the night, so it didn't bother us much. My boyfriend and I traveled with our motorcycles on a trailer that the staff made us feel comfortable to keep in the parking lot over night. You can hear what the others in the next room are saying, nearly perfectly, from the vent in the bathroom. There isn't a fan in the bathroom- so just be aware of that! Overall, we weren't looking for anything crazy nice, so this was perfect for the low key trip that we had planned."

"Steep stairs rewarded by magnificent loft. Very clean, pool table, TV complete with YouTube, Netflix, Prime and a bunch more I am did not useModern appliances, bathroom & shower were exceptional.Lots of little touches done right.I am very sensitive to noise at night, forgot my earplugs and had no problem sleeping. There was the occasional train which in the MBR was not a problem. For sensitive sleepers, might be a problem in the other bedroom.We did not eat there (no good opportunity),but there is a hole in the wall Jamaican restaurant one block away that rated 4.8. My stepson who likes good food and restaurants spoke highly of it.I was a bit torn on the neighborhood rating. The area is gentrifying and while some of houses in the area were in need of repair and there is the occasional graffiti, there are 3 artists' studios on the block. My stepson drives 20 minutes to some of the restaurants in the area.Normally I when in the area, I stay with my stepson and his family, but they had a big event (14 kids in the basement) so we needed a place to stay, If the need arose, I would happily go back here again - and I am picky."

"Very unique property centrally located to explore the Catskills area. Kingston is a nice little town with a lot of great restaurants. You can hike in the adjacent state park along the Hudson from the property or hike in the Catskills 30 minutes out. Quiet relaxing property. "

"Great location if you are spending a couple of days in the Kingston area. Charming house and decor. I loved that they deliver warm coffee and muffins in the morning. The room was decorated nicely and they even provided a record player with records."
