Who is up for a morning dip in a sparkling swimming pool? Then a morning coffee taken on the deck overlooking a beautiful lake. Follow that up with a paddle out on the water and an hour or two of fishing from the shoreline.
End the day with aperitifs in the sunroom before the BBQ and great conversation around the campfire.
And that is just day one.
Inside you’ll find a light and airy space with living and formal dining areas on the main floor with a sunroom overlooking the pool where you can play foosball or watch a movie. The upper level has a kitchen and dining space with doors to a deck. The three bedrooms are on this floor.

Pigeon Lake is shallow and prone to some weeds, so swimming from the shoreline isn’t the best. Fishing is great! If you want the beach experience, Emily Provincial Park is less than 10 minutes away. Take a picnic, hike the trails, and wade out to swim from the beach.

Pets are not permitted at this property
A post-rental cleaning service is provided; however, the property is to be left in a tidy condition
Bed linens & towels are not provided, there are ample pillows and blankets/comforters
Waterfront is a northwesterly exposure
Guests must provide their own child-size life jackets/PFDs to ensure a correct fit
This cottage has a valid STR license with the City of Kawartha Lakes; Licence # STR2025-84, which allows for no more than 6 guests to be on the property at any given time during your stay. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.

Trivia Pigeon Lake forms part of the Trent-Severn waterway and is 27 km long and up to 3 km wide. The most common game fish in the lake are smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, yellow perch, carp, muskellunge as well as a number of species of panfish. Commercial and recreational fishing has resulted in the introduction of zebra mussels, which change the ecosystem by filtering the water and making it clearer. Some fish, such as Walleye, dislike the clear water and have become less abundant.

Lead guest must be 30+ years old.
