Not much space between the bunk beds meaning only 1 of the 4 sleepers can access the under the bed locker at the time. Only 2 hooks on the wall to hang jackets for 4 people. Beds very basic but comfortable. No privacy whatsoever! Other hostels deal with this with roller blinds… plug sockets away from the beds so bring a long cable (like a 2-3 meters one. Toilets and showers are at the very end of a long corridor so if you need a wee in the middle of the night get ready for an excursion. The gents toilets were either blocked, out of service or in a very bad state. None of the 5 toilet doors would close because the entire frame was out of place. The bar (although painfully slow) and the breakfast were good and the atmosphere was young and vibrant.

Melina greeted us with warm welcome and made check-in a breeze. Clean room, sufficient basic necessities for the stay. Shared bathroom stalls can have a refresh, especially the locks. Walking distance to public transit. Great pub right beside the front desk, lovely staff.

Okay. Bathrooms very tired and broken locks. The bedrooms didn’t have shelves or even a hook. Just one overhead light in room, individual beds could have benefitted from personal light and charger point. Woken twice in the night by noise. Clean sheets. Decent food and drinks. Staff were lovely.
