Extremely friendly service, great value for money
The staff are the friendliest I’ve experienced in London, and the price compared to other hotels in the area is great. The hotel was extremely clean and breakfast was very good. Room (especially shower) was very small, and temperature a little up and down, but overall a lovely stay

An old but nice hotel. Good, served, English breakfast. Hard beds. On 5 minutes walking distance to multiple underground stations and 15 minutes walking to the major shopping streets.

Travelers beware! Zero rating. My room was directly beneath major construction site (upper half of small hotel). No mention of construction on booking or during in person check in or room. Coming from US, I was especially shocked by early morning power tools and intense banging. Unable to sleep, work or even talk on phone. No apologies from hotel. I am also very disappointed that hotels.com/expedia allows room booking in construction zone.
