Stunning One Bedroom Apartment next to Battersea Park

A stunning one bedroom apartment located on a leafy upmarket residential street, just seconds walk from Battersea Park. It has recently been renovated with stylish furniture and contemporary art work. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen and huge doors that open onto a balcony backing onto gardens, making is quiet for London.

The bedroom has a king sized bed with a super comfortable memory foam mattress and luxury bed linen. There is plenty of storage space for clothes in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. Dimmable side lights, plug and USB socket each side of the bed for hotel like convenience!

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine and a dining table with 2 stools for 2 people.

All the technology you could wish for: Widescreen LCD TV with Digital TV and Google Chromecast. HiFi with Bluetooth, DAB, internet radio, mini jack input and CD player. And of course Fast fibre WiFi.

Bathroom with fantastic shower.

There is a bike hire station just outside, perfect for a cycle to the park or over the bridge to Chelsea and the King's Road.

The space: The flat is a new renovation. Everything is new and beautifully finished. No one lives there when it's not rented out so it's not full of the usual clutter, just the things you need to enjoy your stay.

Guest access: You will have the whole flat to yourself.

Interaction with guests: I live close by, so I'm always on hand to help with any issues or offer guidance on your stay in London.

The neighbourhood: The flat is on Albert Bridge Road and is just a 30 second walk to the gates of Battersea Park, one of London's most beautiful parks. Just over the bridge is Chelsea with all the shops and restaurants of the King's Road, Sloane Square and Fulham Road. There are also some great pubs just seconds away: The Lighthouse, Lost & Co, The Duke of Cambridge and The Northcote.

The neighbourhood: The flat is on Albert Bridge Road and is just 30 seconds walk to the gates of Battersea Park, one of London's most beautiful parks. Just over the bridge is Chelsea with all the shops and restaurants of the King's Road, Sloane Square and Fulham Road. There are also some great pubs just seconds away: The Lighthouse, Lost & Co and The Northcote.

The nearest tube is South Kensington or Sloane Square. The 49 bus goes direct to South Kensington every 8 minutes and takes 16 minutes - the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the flat. Or of course you could cycle - there is a Santander cycle hire station just seconds from the front door. All the tube and train stations have bike hire stations very close to them.

The nearest train stations are Battersea Park (5 minute by bus / 15 minute walk) which gets you to Victoria in 5 minutes or Queenstown Road (6 minute by bus / 16 minute walk) which get you into Waterloo in 10 minutes.

There is a great site and free app called Citymapper which will give you every possible combination of transport around London. Type in SW114PY for the location of the flat.

Getting from Heathrow Airport: There are a few ways to get to the flat from Heathrow. The easiest and quickest way is to get an Uber taxi if you have the app. It should take no more than 50 mins and cost about ÂŁ35/40. Second option would be the Heathrow express train to Paddington Station (ÂŁ25 one way, ÂŁ22 off peak, ÂŁ37 return). Here you then have to change to the underground (circle line, yellow line) to South Kensington Station and then get a bus (no.49 or 345) or taxi to the flat. The cheapest option is the underground all the way from Heathrow on the Piccadilly Line to South Kensington, followed by bus (no.49 or 345).

Getting from Gatwick Airport: Take the train to Clapham Junction (do not take the Gatwick Express as this only stops at Victoria, not Clapham Junction). From Clapham Junction take a bus (6 minutes) or taxi to the flat.

Getting to Wimbledon Tennis: The quickest is to walk/cycle/bus to Battersea Park train station and get a train to Wimbledon station (there is one change at Clapham Junction) which only takes 20 mins. Or you can get the District Line tube from South Kensington to Southfields.

Parking: Parking In London is difficult and expensive and I would advise you don't bring a car if you can help it. Parking outside on the outside the flat is free in the evenings (5pm - 9am) and all day at weekends. During the day there is metered parking currently at ÂŁ2.60 an hour with a maximum stay of 4 hours. I can also provide daily parking permits for ÂŁ20. These must be requested in advance and payable in cash during your stay.

Other things to note: There is a small convenience store just round the corner to buy essentials and a larger Tesco supermarket a 10 minute walk away. Nespresso coffee pods and teas are supplied.

TrĂšs belle appartement grand et pratique

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'appartement qui était dans un secteur résidentiel trÚs sécuritaire malgré qu'il est a 45 minutes de marche de presque toute les attractions de Londres. Le quartier est remplis de restaurant et de petites places a découvrir. Il y a toujours des vélos en location prÚs du parc. Et la parc est un attrait trÚs intéressant qui apporte un beau plus ..

Great Place to Stay

We had a great stay and Oliver was a great host. Battersea Park was a perfect location for us to catch a bus, walk to the underground station, or take the Uber Thames Clipper to central London. The park was amazing and there seemed to always be something going on. We became regulars at the Duke of Cambridge during our stay - extremely friendly staff, great menu, and great patrons. There's a Tesco Express just around the corner which came in very handy for grabbing groceries. Overall, a great place to stay.

Wonderful stay in Battersea

We had a fantastic stay at this flat — it was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and remarkably quiet. I initially worried that being away from a tube line would be inconvenient, but the bus connections were excellent and made getting around very easy. The location is a real highlight: just a stone’s throw from beautiful Battersea Park and in a lovely, walkable area.The host wasn’t as responsive as I would have liked (a few messages went unanswered), but it didn’t impact our stay in any significant way. We’d happily return and highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a peaceful London base.

Everything you need

We were able to access public transportation easily. The Battersea Park Power Station shopping centre is beautiful. The local pubs are friendly and the food is delicious. The apartment felt safe and it was very quiet. Would stay again with my husband next time. Thank you Oliver!

First Visit to London

This is a great apartment that is away (but not too far) from the highly touristy areas. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oliver’s flat in Battersea. It was better than described online! It was well and thoughtfully outfitted (converter plugs, coffee, plenty of toilet paper!). We enjoyed the outdoor space after walking miles and miles around this wonderful city. The location had easy access to public transportation, and was also a quick walk across the bridge to Chelsea. There are some really good pubs and restaurants nearby in the neighborhood, and grocery stores were also close by. If we ever have the opportunity to return to London, we would definitely stay here again. And Oliver, if you ever want to sell, you know how to reach me!! Cheers!

Charming quiet flat

The flat was beautifully decorated, clean and perfect for a stay in London. The location was spectacular, feet away from Battersea Park, busses to all over London and quick access to Victoria, Clapham and Liverpool St. railway stations. We didn't want to leave! Cute neighborhood just a few miles from the city

Great space. Super clean. Easy check-in process. Citymapper app makes traveling around so simple. It takes the guess work out of which bus and tube to take. It's a great app! Bed was incredibly comfortable! Oliver was really great in helping when some issues with the boiler came up. If you get a cab right from the airport, it's expensive. It ran about $75 (plus tip). I would advise using the Free Now app to order a car and it's cheaper than Uber. If you're looking for a small but clean space that's a bit away from the city, this is a good spot for sure. Be advised that there are no outlets by a mirror. This made getting ready using curling irons, etc a tad difficult. I very much appreciated having the adapters available to me! I enjoyed the apartment and would return again for sure.

Enchanting!

Oliver is extremely helpful and went out of his way to make my trip seamless and comfortable. He answered any of my questions promptly and was always happy to help. The flat is located in an ideal location. Next to Battersea Park and a five minute walk to enjoy a stroll along the Thames. Very easy to access public transportation or Santander bikes if pedaling is your preferred method of transport. The flat itself was perfect. Clean and well appointed. Felt immediately at home. I am looking forward to returning to London and will definitely book this flat again!
