Such a good location and I would recommend paying a bit extra for the tower bridge view but the bathroom cleanliness was quite terrible there was rust all over the bathtub, the shower head was very outdated and leaked and the temperature would never stay it would either turn boiling or cold

This hotel was not what was expected. Aside from being old with desperate need of renovation, I had the following experiences: My first room was covered with crumbs and other trash. Crumbs on the floor and dresser. Pencil shavings on the floor. The room also smelled very strongly of smoke, despite being on a non-smoking floor. I moved rooms and the second room was clean, but the television didn't work. It would restart ever 5 - 10 minutes. The walls were paper thin and I could overhear full conversations in the rooms next to me and in the hallway. I was supposed to stay at this hotel for 6 nights and changed hotels after 2 nights. The staff was kind, although not very helpful when I had a few questions about changing my reservation.

I was looking forward to staying here as the pictures look fantastic, however it is very average. The bathroom was very outdated and there were loose fixtures and fittings. We couldn’t control the temperature in the room and so we were quite cold during the night. However the view from our room was brilliant and the location couldn’t be better. The staff were friendly too.
