Room was fine, great view, however dated. The desk set up had very little space to accommodate clothing if you didn't want to live out of your suitcase. The large TV took up 90 percent of the surface space for your items. No outlets in the bathroom for hairdryer or flatiron. The tub/shower is a very high step in/out for the elderly or short, big fall hazard, needs to be just a shower. The plumming needs updated as this is the only toilet in all of England we had to "prime" to flush.by flushing once and the 2nd time it worked. I gave it a 4 star as they were updating the lo by and we saw other floors had been updated hoping the 2nd floor is coming soon. The location is perfect for the towr bridge, Tower of London and the tain station.

The breakfast was excellent and the location ideal. However, we had an issue with the AC. The thermostat would not come on. When we complained they claimed that the AC was central and not turned on yet for the season, but all other people travelling with us had AC in their rooms. They offered us a fan. Luckly, the temperature dropped and made it bearable.

I have traveled to many places in Europe and stayed at many different kinds of hotels. I know that they are smaller and sometimes outdated. But this one was just horrific. Don’t be fooled by the pics online- the rooms are ancient. Upon arrival into the lobby we smelled the most horrendous odor similar to urine which carries into the elevators. The bathroom had no ventilation and was therefore covered in mold. The shower felt like someone was spitting water at you. The carpet was filthy. And when our tv didn’t work we called the front desk who said they’d send someone up but no one ever came. To say we were disappointed in our stay would be an understatement.
