Beautifully decorated & well-kept spaces with very comfortable bedding & clean bathrooms. I especially loved the smart mirrors in the bathroom & the shower spaces. The housekeeping staff was prompt when requested & did a great job. Everyone at the desk was friendly & attentive. We ate at the on-site restaurant twice & had mixed experiences - the breakfast staff was amazing, the late night crew seemed unengaged (didn't bring us plates, napkins, fill our waters, etc. simple tasks went undone). The hiking trail behind the property was a huge bonus & the pool was pleasant too.

The hotel was a perfect mid point to explore both the Malibu and Santa Monica areas. The pool area and restaurant are so pretty, it almost feels as if you’re staying at a private estate.

My room is near the lobby on the first floor. Guests passing my room talking loudly and the room can hear clearly! I couldn’t have a good sleep the whole night whenever guests passing my room and talking! Definitely need a good flooring and doors to block the noise.
