Summary:

Brand new (construction finished Nov '21) modern townhouse with full amenities located in Del Rey, Los Angeles- mins from Venice Beach, walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to Santa Monica. The home is modern yet cozy, with high end appliances and brand new everything. Enjoy incredible expansive views of Los Angeles (you can even see the Hollywood sign) from the private roof terrace, equipped with a state-of-the-art retractable roof pergola and built in heaters.



The Space:

Modern yet inviting, you'll be able to relax in comfort both with the decor and the brand new amenities. The home spans 5 floors and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with the 5th floor/roof being the terrace (please be aware of the stairs- if anyone in your party has any health problems that may prevent them from easily using stairs, this property is not the right fit for you). There is a private gated driveway for the building, and a private 2 car garage for your use on the property. The sofa in the living room can accommodate one more person and we will provide the bedding for you. PLEASE NOTE that it it is not a pull out sofa and does not fold into a Queen Bed.

The Neighborhood:

The townhome is located in a very quiet and residential neighborhood. It is in a gated community. There are a few coffee shops that can be reached within walking distance. Mad Lab Coffee and Lodge Bread Company bakery are a 6 minutes walk away. Venice Beach is a 15 minutes drive away and Santa Monica Pier is a 20 minutes drive away.



Getting Around:

We recommend having a car. However, it is very easy to get an Uber/Lyft from this location.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY MUST BE RESPECTED AT ALL TIMES

ANY PARTIES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION

Pets allowed on a case by case basis - please check with host before check in - $90 per pet/per day

Smoking prohibited indoors (outdoors ok) - $250 fine

$35 charge per towel for any stained/ruined towel

$35 charge per stained pillow cover

$200 charge per stained sheets/duvet cover

$200 charge if the house is left excessively messy and requires additional cleaning

Upon check in, please report any damages to avoid being charged. We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue, we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you.

This is a very clean and functional five-story unit. Garage on first floor leading to hall to upper floors. Very secure with main gate and garage door. Plenty of room for parking in the garage. The second floor is the living area with kitchen and TV/lounging area. The third floor has two good-size bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The fourth floor is the main bedroom and bathroom. The fifth floor is an open rooftop deck with pergola. The hosts were very communicative and easy to work with through the whole process. With the stairs the rental would be better for adults and less great for young families and older folks.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. The nicest VRBO property we've stayed in, and a fun location in a gentrifying Del Mar neighborhood on a quier, dead end street. Incredible roof deck. Nice, large bedrooms with comfortable beds and lots of closet space. Great kitchen/living room main floor. Off street garage parking. Will stay again when back to my LA hometown

This was a nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed that. No loud highway noise. We could walk to Washington Blvd to get to restaurants. The rental company was very responsive to questions. The beds were a little too hard for us. The midsize bedroom you could feel the springs in the mattress. The water in the showers was hard water. We are used to having a water softener. Even with those things the stay was great. Its a pretty expensive rental though so I was expecting more comfortable beds. That would be the one thing I would suggest changing.

This property had, literally, everything we needed for a longer stay. Fully equipped with everything you would need. The home is gorgeous, the neighborhood is quiet and all the neighbors are lovely. We are on the road home and already talking about our next stay!

Overall ok. Missing a few of the amenities mentioned in ad. Distances to "things to do" were far off of the published distances. We used rooftop patio a lot (shutters to open were not working though) as weather was perfect. Nice to have a secure garage to park our vehicle in vs using the street. Living room and kitchen area nice. Kitchen well supplied with cookware/utensils.

This property is absolutely FABULOUS! It is bright, clean, very comfortable beds, well stocked and impeccably organized kitchen, a spacious garage for parking stocked with beach chairs & boogie boards. The property owner has excellent communication and is invested in making sure you have a great stay. The Oraklus is in a quiet residential neighborhood - no traffic noise. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again on our future travels to LA.

It was really clean and looked better than the pictures. There was some problems with the wifi which got resolved the next day. Neighbors also parked in the driveway which made entering and exiting the house difficult. Overall, I was very pleased during the stay.

Nice amenities but read the description completely before booking.

The home is awesome and it's outfitted with everything you'd ever need for an extended stay. The rooms are spacious and the deck is great for days with nice weather. I think anyone looking at this listing should definitely consider booking this space. There is a small detail to consider...We booked this place based on the location in the listing but later determined it's 15 minutes away from the VRBO pin. They do mention this in the description but it's buried halfway through the listing details. It's managed by a property management team and that comes with few warnings for charges for everything (including stained towels). Location aside... We had an issue where a hairdryer tripped the electrical outlet and I called their emergency maintenance line for support to leave a message. No one called back and I only got a response 4 hours later when the property management team was messaging me for checkout details the following day. Just things to consider when booking at this location.

Bait and switch on Location

We were looking for a place to stay near Venice Beach and this place was listed as 580 Washington. Unfortunately in reality the place is located at 11743 Avon Way. We specifically needed somewhere to stay close to our friends so we could walk everywhere. The property manager didn’t tell us the correct address until it was too late to change the reservation. The place overall was fine. Up to date and modern. Clean. But the bait and switch on location really spoiled our short trip to SoCal

Quality property

Property was clean and well appointed and in excellent condition. Communication from property manager was efficient and detailed.Property is on a narrow street which has a dense amount of cars parked on both sides of the road in a good neighborhood. It would be difficult to find parking on the street if that has been necessary but was not an issue as the garage provided was perfect for us.I would rent again if the opportunity arose.

Great place to stay with easy access to westside of LA

I stayed with my husband, son and my sister. The place had enough room for everyone to spend time together as well as to take their own space. It is walkable to two neighborhood coffee shops. My son was able to walk to retrieve us dinner from LA Vegan (we tipped him instead of ordering through Grub Hub). The roof top deck has a great view of the city. There was good water pressure in the showers. It is great to have your own parking space in the garage, which makes loading and unloading easier.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
