Abraham and Alex are a great asset to this hotel. They made my stay one that insures I’ll be back. Actually I think I’m going to book again tonight!

Upon arrival, there was no bellhop. Asked for a bagged cart several times and yet had to wait 15 min even though I could see a few in an adjacent room. Requested wine glasses to be in the room. There were none. The remote control did not work properly. Would just stop working Was very frustrating. There was one restaurant in the whole hotel and one small pick up and go eatery. The furniture was outdated. Was not happy at all with this hotel.

I booked the room through Hotels.com and was very excited to stay at Commerce for the first time. The reason i booked the room is because Hotels.com put up a pop up msg as soon as I got on their page, that said 'We're not like the others, the price you pay INCLUDES TAXES AND FEES'....The 'fees' being the most important issue with regard to what happened when I got to the property. By the way, not only did that initial pop up say any and all 'fees' as in 'resort fees' were included in the price they would quote me for the room, but when I clicked on Commerce Casino, there was a SECOND blurb that reminded me, 'what you see is what you pay', meaning I would not be charged any more than the price Hotels.com quoted me...But that was in fact not what happened when I got to Commerce. The check in clerk told me I would have to pay for 'resort fees'. I showed her AND I showed her manager the exact pop up msg that comes up saying 'fees' were guaranteed to be included in the price I paid booking the room, 'the price I saw was supposed to be what I paid' and I showed them both pop up msgs, and they both kept rudely asking me, 'didn't you read deeper and read the confirmation email?' I shouldn't have had to explain over and over that the confirmation msg was just confirming I booked the room, I should have been able to count on no further costs. They took half the resort fees off, but it should have been all taken off. They tried to tell me I had to get it from Hotels.com
