We had a late night arrival with our family of 4. Upon arrival and checking in, our room was hot and musty smelling. We were moved to another room with air, but only had a King and pullout. Our boys of 19 (6’3”) and 17 (5’11”) had to share the full size pullout sofa. This was not ideal. There was no manager on duty to give us compensation either for the hot room or the replacement room with insufficient bedding. A cot was requested, but was not available.

The staff were kind, professional and extremely helpful. The courtyard was a fantastic place to unwind and relax. The courtyard was a little loud when I was going to sleep, but I was also going to sleep really early because I was still feeling east coast time. But I would just recommend getting a room that doesn’t face the courtyard if you go to bed early. This hotel was perfect for me and I can’t wait to stay here again.

Convenient location next to LAX, dated and

Convenient location next to LAX with shuttle bus service for very early flights. Hotel dated, rooms off outdoor hallway that is all hard surfaces so noisy and large gap under room door so heard noise all night.

Staff was great. Breakfast had waffle maker, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereal, toast and bagels and bananas. Whipped cream and blueberry compote was available. Across from In & out burger and some other food options. Parking was around the corner ($50 per night). Lots of spaces and easy to park. Bed was incredibly hard. Air conditioning in one room did not work and both rooms had a chemical-y odd smell. The outside of the building near the pool is in need of repair. Overall was ok and nothing just horrible but I wouldn’t stay there again. They did do a discount for the non-functioning air.

The aircon in the room automatically shuts down after 3 mins then it shows a service sign in the screen. Used our own portable fan for the baby. Asked for a fan once and needs to call again in the middle of the night to follow up. Was offered to change room but was already too tired to unpack luggages and the baby just manages to sleep. Was offered a fan and a 50% discount but just like I stated earlier, need to call twice for the fan to arrive. Otherwise clean room and good breakfast. Just check the aircon first before unpacking your things.
