I brought my family of four (kids 16 and 11) to Los Angeles for five days as part of a longer vacation. Lisa's place was the perfect base for the LA portion of our trip.The place is totally gorgeous and modern, and you have private access to the patio, pool and hot tub as part of your stay. Modern spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, nice Televisions. A well equipped kitchen helped us for making some meals in the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet despite being very near some of the busier areas of Hollywood. Everything you need is nearby: gas stations, super markets, donut places (try Danny Trejo's place), etc. We had nearby access to Hollywood, Griffith Park, La Brea Tar Pits, etc. We also took trips out to Disneyland (1 hour drive) and Santa Monica (40 mins). There was convenient street parking for our rental car. Lisa is incredibly helpful and has lots of great suggestions about things to do.The listing was clear about the accommodation but I'll explain here for clarity. The place is split into two parts. The lower part has the pool and kitchen. You go up a flight of stairs outside to access the upper bedroom. My wife and I stayed there and the kids took the lower part. The arrangement worked perfectly; our kids are old enough that it didn't bother them having us upstairs around a corner but if you have very small ones it might be different. One of the best places we have found in VRBO and would whole heartedly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's. She had filtered water pitchers filled with glasses waiting for us upon arrival plus snacks, and coffee/tea pods. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. It was too chilly for the pool. Would recommend and would stay again if heading to LA.

This has to be one of our favorite VRBO stays ever. Lisa is the perfect host - her home is warm and beautiful. It was wonderful to start and end each day in serenity and have all the conveniences of home. We loved being able to walk to coffee, Trader Joe’s and Amoeba Records and it was a quick drive up to our favorite hike at the Lake Hollywood Reservoir. We cannot wait to come back!

Amazing oasis in the heart of Hollywood!

I stayed with my two young children ages six and eleven. The home served as the perfect serene spa to relax at between trips around wonderful Los Angeles! The children were 100% thrilled with the pool and hot while I read or prepared meals.

Amazing Stay

My family and I loved staying at Lisa’s place, it had everything we needed. We loved the pool area, it was very relaxing. Lisa helped moved our date since we came in later than expected. She provided us with cold beverages when we arrived which was very nice. She also has cats in her area so we were able to see and pet them. Perfect Hideaway in Superb Location

I booked this beauty while visiting my daughter who lives in LA so her grandmother, aunt, and I could bond. We had a blast! The rooms couldn’t be more comfortable, beautiful or spacious. We enjoyed our coffee poolside each morning, and lounged in the pool and hot tub all evening. It was so quiet and secluded you would never know how close we were to everything—Hollywood tours, Warner Bros tours, shopping and wonderful restaurants. It was the absolute perfect getaway. Our host even welcomed us a bottle of wine, pop, and beer and snacks. It will be hard to top!

We came here for a girls trip and had a great stay! Check in was super easy and everything in the house was well labelled and easy to find. The host was very thoughtful and each room was well stocked and had everything you’d need. The pool and outdoor space were beautiful and super relaxing. The house is in a great neighborhood and close to countless restaurants and retail stores. I also really enjoyed having separate spaces for the two rooms.
