The check-in process was quick and easy. Every interaction with the staff was efficient but not particularly friendly/personable. Hotel room was clean and in order but there was a very strong smell of cleaning products that was overbearing so that I had to open the window each time I returned to the room. Normally, opening a window would not concern me but as a female traveling alone, I felt uncomfortable. Which is why I said the hotel is isolated - it is the last business on the road without quick access to other businesses or restaurants. It is on a very noisy street but the AC unit was also noisy and that helped drown out the street noise. The room was affordable and clean and if I were traveling with my husband, I would be willing to stay there again. Overall, I give it a three out of five stars.

You get what you pay for

Room was pretty minimal but clean, though the strong cleaner smell gave me a headache. Didn't appreciate the used condom wrapper in front of my door when I arrived. Also the cleaning cart was left in front of my window both nights I was there, which didn't feel very welcoming. TV took a while to work, and the wifi was pretty spotty. The area is pretty industrial, though Downtown Newhall is maybe a 5 minute drive away. The plus is that it's affordable, but you get what you pay for.

Small rooms. Bed was not confortable. Felt like new mattress is needed. Traffic driving by is loud. Our rooms felt hot. We did turn AC on which was very loud. It is good for a one night. But not for more.

Don’t believe all the amazing reviews

We were checked in at 3pm and given a room that was not yet cleaned, then was told to just come back later. When we finally got a room the TV would not work. The front desk came and got the tv working but the audio would not work. The bedding and pillows had stains on them. I actually saw the pillows all on the floor of the room while it was being cleaned to them be placed on the bed. I had low expectations considering the price but a working tv and clean bed is bare expectations
