Clean grounds and room. Pretty basic but keeps the 1960’s road trip vibe. Staff is very nice and helpful. Pool is very retro cool with mid-century style furniture. Only thing I really disliked was charging $11 for parking in an open motel lot, and every hotel in LA thinks this is ok to do…and it is not, at least to me, paying $200+ for a room that has less amenities than a Motel 6. Not much around it as far as restaurants and stores unless you want to put on your hiking shoes and walk 1/2 mile or more. No iron or ironing board, no cups, so bring your own. No hair dryer and just a basic sink with no space to set things. Anyways, its in a great spot, close to a lot of cool things, so if you want to walk on the wild side, make a atop for the night here and pretend its the family station wagon pulling up in 1961 on vacation. Not much has changed on the exterior and it is very cool visually.

Great staff and room but beware of parking

Staff was so friendly and helpful, room was very clean and nice. The only thing that really hurt our stay was the parking situation. We came back from the amusement park around midnight, come to find out they don’t offer enough parking for everyone who is staying, we had to park our car on the street and get up before 8am to move it before it would get possibly a ticket or towed. It was a really rough sleep worrying that someone might hit our car or oversleep and it gets a ticket

This is a hotel you should not stay for more than a night or two. I loved the sky light in the bathroom, the shower had a weird smell, I did buy like the outdoor layout of the hotel. Parking is hard to find at night. I would not stay here again.

Old motel that was painted nicely BUT needs to modernize the bathroom with at least a more modern shower head! Put a couple of cups for guests to rinse their months after brushing their teeth! At least add a long mirror in the room!!!! Think if the guests not just how much $$ you can make!

Room was super clean and much bigger than I expected. Gabriel at check in was so so nice. I didn’t stay long enough to adventure around but it’s close to the Galleria so that’s awesome! The parking does get a lil squishy the later in the evening it gets so don’t get “home” too late lol
