Everything was very nice. The only problem I had was that I was somehow booked into 22 rooms. The hotel staff took care of that without any problems but I don't know how to contact Travelocity to make sure I wasn't charged twice when the reservation was made. The hotel was great.

Need to put all families with small children on lowest floor and all adults or adults with older children on upper floors. Family in room next to us had children running up and down hall till 10PM and then screaming and crying till 1 AM, and then it all began again at 4 AM till around 6AM. No sleep before a cross country flight. Not a good thing.

Pros: The room was beautiful and comfortable, clean and nicely decorated and furnished,
Cons: The heat system: the fan is loud and the thermostat recycled every 5 minutes or so, disturbing our sleep. The noise was what dropped it to 4 stars
We booked a night at the Hampton Inn JFK as there was not a connecting flight from our flight in from London. The advance directions we received to catch the Air Train to Federal Circle to catch the Hampton Shuttle was helpful, as we were not familiar with getting around JFK. The return to JFK shuttle took us directly to our correct terminal made our flight out easy! A hot breakfast in the morning was plentiful.

Nice hotel, wish I could have stayed & enjoyed it

Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to find reservation
Cons: Earlier start for breakfast (e.g., 5:30 instead of 6:00 AM).
Location: No idea.
Shots [not] fired at JFK meant we got to hotel at 1:15 AM with 6:00 departure for next flight. Staff was very helpful digging out our reservation from the Travelocity database (not in hotel's database for unknown reason).

Poor experience

Bus from airport was dirty and driver was very rude. Front desk guy was also rude and had me wait while he found the Travelocity reservation (30 minutes) commented that Travelocity always gives trouble. Room was dirty and in particular bathroom. Complained to front desk who sent up cleaning supplies and told me to clean it myself. Worst experience ever.

Great Hotel close to JFK

This is the second time we have stayed at Hampton Inn by JFK. The beds and rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The free breakfast is good with something for everyone. Fresh fruits, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water are available 24/7 in the lobby. There is a free shuttle to and from JFK. We stay there before and after flights into and out of JFK.

Love Hampton Inn

I love staying st Hampton Inn's across the country, you always know what to expect. While this property is no way a dump it would be last on my list of Hampton Inns. It just felt dingy and not completely clean, mostly in the hallways. My room was excellent however.
