We booked our room and it was a bit smaller than we had anticipated, but would’ve been perfect for just me and my wife. we brought our six-year-old with us to experience NYC at Christmas, the hotel staff did everything to accommodate us to switch our room to a larger double queen bed at minimal cost,, have stayed here several times and will go back.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The lobby was really pretty. The hotel was very convenient to Times Square. The rooms were crap. It was smaller than a European room. We complained 3 times about a lack of hot water. Nothing like a cold shower to wake you up. But what do you expect for $500 a night? I learned the importance of looking at ratings and reviews before booking. I definitely would NOT recommend Hotel Edison.

Even though I paid for a city view room I was put into a back room on a mid floor. There was an issue with the wall in the hallway outside my room where they were likely fixing a leak. The hallway smelled moldy and like fish. Other areas of the hotel seemed ok. Overall not a great experience. With so many other hotel options in the area I will likely never stay at an Edison again.

The room was very clean the staff were very pleasant and extremely friendly. Valet parking was very easy to deal with and the wait for the car was around 30 minutes which I think was pretty good. The door staff were really helpful to us as well informed of where to eat close to the hotel.
