We booked our room and it was a bit smaller than we had anticipated, but would’ve been perfect for just me and my wife. we brought our six-year-old with us to experience NYC at Christmas, the hotel staff did everything to accommodate us to switch our room to a larger double queen bed at minimal cost,, have stayed here several times and will go back.

Room is clean. Very small, especially the bathroom. While they do give you Starbucks coffee and bottles of water, they use the most generic cream and sugar... like a motel 8. The half shower door is stupid. Water all over the floor every time. They have no on-site restaurant. They partner with attached restaurants which treat you like peasants when you present your breakfast vouchers. They do keep a very good, early 1900s feel. The bar had live, early 1900s music every night. Lots of fun! Not the best for a family, but we made it work.

The tiny room was clean & staff was courteous. However, the room was much darker as far as the lighting & the Queen size bed seemed to actually be a Full-size bed. There was only enough towels for one person & I had to ask for another set to accommodate the reservation for two people.
