I was so impressed with this hotel. During a pre-holiday weekend, when hotel rates were $600+/night, this hotel was reasonably priced, so my expectations were measured. This was an excellent location, on the edge of Times Square on 42nd/9th, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There was a great side view of the Hudson River from the 17th floor. The "Full Pod" was clean, with a big private bathroom, comfortable full-sized bed, an in-room safe, thermostat control, charging stations, and cable TV. The room was quiet and the hotel was well-staffed and felt safe. Checkout was at 12pm, too, which is comparatively late. It's not plush, but who's spending a ton of time in their hotel room when they're in NYC? If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay at the end of a long day of sightseeing, this is a great option.

Room was very tiny BUT had everything I needed 4 a great stay. Location was super .. walking distance to everything I came to see.. Times Square, Broadway theaters, Rockefeller Center, Radio City and more. Hotel was clean and perfect 4 someone visiting New York to enjoy New York. I felt very safe; the staff was very helpful and the conserige scheduled my return ride to the airport 4 half what I paid to get there. Happy Hour with Victor serving up fine cocktails and big smiles was a super way to end each great day! I’ll be back!!

Loved the Pod! If you are okay with small spaces, heights and just want a modern and efficient stay than the pod is for you! We stay for the New York Marathon and enjoyed the hotel and experience greatly! The hotels decor is so nice, and the room had such an amazing view of manhattan! The location was perfect for NYC and we were right by the subway for quick travels. Local restaurant options were excellent, and the staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay!
