Room 3. A/C does not cool room

Very clean room and motel. Would have been wonderful except a/c never cooled room. Woke up sweating multiple times which ruined our stay. Reported to front desk. Hoping this issue is fixed for other guest yet broke our hearts as we never have a chance to get away and we’re desperate for a great stay. Sad

This hotel was immaculate inside and out. It had a beautiful pool, a patio with stairs going to the beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed a second night before resuming our trip. The gentleman who checked us in and out was so friendly - we will definitely return to this gem on the beach!

The photos of this place indicate that it is nicer than it is. It basically is an old 1950's motel that has been upgraded some. Maintenance-wise it is ok on the outside. Didn't realize that it is rated as a 2-Star hotel and after staying there that is an appropriate rating. It was a very dark dingy room, but our room did have a view of the Atlantic across a deck area. Stayed there only because of the Daytona 500, and would not stay there again. For about the same price you can find a 3-Star hotel in Daytona Beach itself where things are a lot more convenient for shopping, beach going, dining, and walking. Not sure why, but the city allows cars to be parked on the beach which detracts from going to the beach. The entire surrounding Daytona Beach area seems a bit sleazy and the people and community nearby are not very cultured crowd. Maybe this is just the NASCAR crowds? Once the race was over the place seemed rather deserted.

Well you can only park 1 car there period cant even pay extra for the the 2nd. The bed was HARD as a rock and lumpy. The really need new pillows there harder than the bed. Other than that great stay! Unfortunately i woke up with a massive headache and 5hrs later still not gone. This well be the only reason we dont go back.

A hidden gem in a jungle of competitors. This place is great, nice ocean view pool, access to the beach, a nice clean more than basic room. Whoever is running this place is doing a good job.

The gentleman at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and professional. The room was clean, comfortable, and complete. I would return anytime I was in the area and even think I would make a plan to come down for a week and enjoy the beach from here.

1 night, last minute stay. No major issues. Good Stay overall. Check in and check out was great. AC was an issue when trying to get the room to be an even temp. The AC unit was in the back of the room instead of by the window, like other rooms.
