"Grand Hôtel de l’Univers is a quaint, quintessentially Parisian hotel located in the heart of Saint-Germain. The location is excellent: you’re surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and cafés, and you’re within easy walking distance of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city.
The rooms are small—very Parisian—but clean, comfortable, and charming. Exactly what you’d expect in this neighborhood. The street itself is quiet, yet just steps away the area comes alive at night with late-night cafés, open shops, and a vibrant local atmosphere.
There’s also a large city pharmacy just a couple of blocks away, which is especially helpful when you’re on the last leg of a trip.
This hotel is a true three-star property. It doesn’t try to be anything more or less than that—and that’s its strength. Quaint, clean, well-located, and authentically Parisian. Highly recommended."
