Book a hotel near Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheater, Downtown Des Moines

"This was a super nice hotel close to many places downtown if you plan on walking anywhere. You could walk to the Farmers Market and Court Ave very easily. The room was very spacious. The only downfall was the air conditioning couldnt keep up since it was so hot outside the weekend we were there. But that is to be expected with older downtown buildings. We will definitely be staying there again!"

"This property had so much history. It was beautiful. The people were friendly. Check in was fast and easy. The speakeasy downstairs was really cool, and Trevor was a fantastic server, even if we disagreed in our beverage tastes. He was patient and tolerant with a couple of old(ish) people having a fun night out--probably more so than I would have been. The environment was awesome. I highly recommend!"

"Great hotel. We have stayed here before and have liked it both times. Very close, easily walkable, to the performing arts center, which is why we were there. We got back to the hotel late and really appreciated that we could get food still in the bar. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Clean, quiet, comfortable. My top 3 criteria all met."
