The apartment was super cute, plenty of space for a couple, and centrally located. The building itself was absolutely beautiful and immediately reminded us of our stay in Copenhagen years ago. You will not need to drive anywhere as everything is very walkable. It’s surprisingly quiet given it’s central location. In the morning, we really enjoyed having coffee in the beautiful courtyard surrounded by gorgeous running fountains. We highly recommend staying at Grazyna’s place when visiting Solvang. "We had a fun visit in Solvang on 4th of July weekend. This lovely studio is right in the heart of town, and it felt as clean and as well-stocked as a hotel, with clean towels and toiletries. It had the personal touches and care of a Grazyna, a host who is kind and welcoming, but provides entire privacy. It was a perfect size for a couple or solo traveler; there was a little more space than I expected with a little living room and a nice sized closet, too. A perfect landing pad in between Solvang adventures. I was happily surprised that it was so quiet, for how central it is to everything—we slept in easily. Very nice to have ways to store and reheat leftovers, too. It was also very nice to have a parking space, and I enjoyed sipping my coffee in the courtyard. "My husband and I loved staying at Grazyna’s place. It is a cute and cozy spot! The bed was so comfy and the apartment was spotless. Also, very cute decor and we loved the small Christmas tree in the room. Everything was perfect. Grazyna was super helpful and she also greeted us when we arrived to the airbnb. Such a kind soul. She made us feel so welcomed and really made us feel comfortable in a new town that we had never been to. We also love that this apartment was within walking distance of everything! "The studio was so cute and perfect! The studio is in the perfect location for all of the cute shops and restaurants of Solvang which was perfect for us. Even with it being right downtown, it was still so private. There is always a colourful bouquet of freshly cut local flowers greeting our guests. Newly renovated, painted and furnished, the apartment offers all the comfort for your stay in this happening part of town. It is fully equipped with all the amenities that will enhance our guests' stay. We have placed a brand new queen-size bed in a larger room of the studio that features a kitchenette with a kitchen table and two chairs. It has a TV set, a smaller table, a standing mirror and an antique wooden chair. The smaller room of the studio has a new leather loveseat sofa with a coffee table, an antique chair, and a spacious closet with wooden hangers.
This sitting area leads to a small washroom with a shower. It also has a portable washer that attaches to the bathroom sink. There are shelves for storing towels and toiletries. We provide our guests with luxurious, soft bamboo and cotton towels, lavender soap gel, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner and lavender essential oil linen water. All nicely furnished to give our guests both a homey, welcoming Eurpean feeling as well as comfort and convenience.
The front entrance to the building on Second Street is gated and closed at all times. The stairways leading to the upper residential property from the front courtyard are private and only used by the owners. However, we welcome our guests to enjoy our romantic private courtyard while listening to the running fountains. Outdoor chairs and garden tables are provided. It is a perfect spot to take your time, relax and enjoy the sight of blooming flowers.
The courtyard is private and shared with the owners, only. Our guests have their own private entrance to their unit from the back where the parking and open garage are located. Your assigned parking spot is covered and under the building. There is an additional outdoor garden table with two chairs on the way to the studio next to the mailboxes that our guests are welcome to use.
This location is blessed with rolling hills near the ocean, olive trees, vineyards, and sunny fields with beautiful magical horses. We live in a safe country setting and the complex is located in the City Center of Solvang, CA. We enjoy sunny days, blue skies and cool restful nights.
