"Firstly the host is an excellent communicator and the check in process is as simple as given the code for key and you’re in at 3:30pm. The cottage itself is in immaculate condition and is exceptionally clean on entry. The kitchen has all you require for your stay. We are a couple and our ground floor bedroom was so lovely with a near view to the sea. The living room has both the couch chair and a fold down table for eating. Upstairs has two single beds and cupboards so the cottage can accommodate a family easily. Lovely toilet and shower…..and for us the piste de resistance was the outside space a beautiful patio area with quality furniture for relaxing and table and chairs for eating. There is a small area down a set of stairs to where the cushions are located in a storage area and a couple of low level chair to sit and watch the sea views. The views from the patio are entrancing and you have sun from very early morning til evening so serves well when you want to rest for the day. Surrounding areas have amazing walls on the east neuk path and st monans centre is a 5 min stroll. Parking is excellent and just outside the cottage. Restaurants are very close by our favourite is the ‘Craig Miller’ restaurant amazing and there’s a fish restaurant East pier. Giddy gamer is a day time cafe and there’s a new store for buying provisions. Short drives to Wlie (incredible sandy beaches) pittenweem for the dory bistro and other villages and of course St Andrews. Brilliant holiday home."
