Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka
"Great location close to Hakata Station and canal city, and the onsen is nice to use at the end of the day."

Plaza Hotel Premier
"We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier Fukuoka. The room was the usual compact size for a Japanese hotel, but the central location was excellent — perfect for exploring the city."

Nest Hotel Hakata Station
"Room was small, as is typical in Japan. Not a lot place to put luggage and purchases for three people. No dresser to put clothes in, and nowhere to hang used towels. Excellent location, easy walk to Hakata station."

ZONK HOTEL HAKATA
"The main come on was the free flowing draft beer, iced coffee, nuts dried fruits and chocolates at the lobby. The main drawback was the lack of housekeeping staff for the duration of the stay. Guests are required to bring out their trash although towels and toilet papers can be easily replaced at ..."

Tokyu Stay Hakata
"We’ve stayed at many various hotels in Japan and have never come across a hotel where the staff have been as unhelpful and dismissive as the ones at Tokyu Stay Hakata. From the front desk staff to some of the restaurant staff. Linh at the front desk was particularly unhelpful. A female staff member ..."

"Really enjoyed staying here because it’s located in a quieter area, away from the bustling areas. It’s also very convenient because the closest subway station is about a 5-minute walk. The best part of the hotel is that it has a public bath, so you can enjoy it every night after walking for 20,000 ..."

Candeo Hotels Kumamoto Shinshigai
"This hotel has a special (cost-saving) cleaning regime. If you do not request for ‘full room cleaning’ before 8am, they will only empty rubbish bins and make the bed. As ridiculous as this sounds, they failed to even make our bed and did not replenish our toilet rolls! The front desk staff were absolutely hopeless. On May 18, 2026, just before check-out, I asked an English-speaking so-called Manager, named Sagar H, to help cancel a restaurant reservation I had made in error since I did not have a Japanese phone number. He immediately refused saying that because I was leaving and the restaurant had not opened, he could not do it as I needed to be present in case there were cancellation fees. This was the most illogical and ridiculous excuse I had heard in a very long time and totally defeats the point of having a concierge at a hotel. They were incredibly unhelpful and demonstrated the classic Japanese rigidity to a point that it did not make sense. I was leaving for Nagoya that morning so I got in touch with the Marriott property I was due to check in to later that day over live chat. They called and cancelled the booking for me within 5 minutes. The difference in attitude and ability explains why your staff work at such a poorly-run hotel like yours, and not for an international brand."
