Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 4-12!

This spacious two bedroom end villa with a fireplace has been totally transformed into a luxurious vacation home. Everything is new (2013). All stone tile floors, bathrooms and wood burning fireplace surround, all new kitchen cabinets and appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and all new furnishings. You'll find a 46-inch flat panel TV above the fireplace in the living room, as well as a 32-inch TV in each bedroom. Throw open the French doors that open to the balcony from both bedrooms and the living room in this villa, so you can enjoy the fresh ocean air and the views. Villa 4-12 is a quick walk to the clubhouse, pool, spa and croquet court. Only 36 steps to the road where your golf cart is parked; a total of 1,469 sq. ft.. H412

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August).

Great place. Spacious, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the complex ... nice views and amenities. Great to have a golf cart...you will need one to get in and out to and from town from there. I would like to give it a 5-Star rating, however there are several maintenance items that to be addressed. Both toilets continually run each time flushed...constantly jiggling the handles or resetting manually. Shower head in primary bedroom is missing...wand only and doesn't work well. Front door lock sticks and is quite difficult to open. Kitchen appliances a bit outdated and worn. Other than that fantastic place

Great location, but the villa did not reflect the 750–800/night rate. The dishwasher had visible rust; the washer/dryer were semi-functional and outdated—loads came out soaking and drying took multiple cycles; most drapes were heavily stained. The water heater did not work for most of our stay—showers were cold, and a guest before us reported the same issue, showing it’s ongoing. Under the mattress we found brown dots/stains resembling possible bug activity. Toilets ran constantly, and the front door lock was difficult to use. The included golf cart wasn’t properly registered, resulting in a citation. This is all supported by photos, videos, and documentation, showing the home was poorly maintained and made our stay stressful.

Really wonderful place! We booked last minute and were thrilled we found this unit. Hamilton Cove was a lovely area with some nice amenities like the pool gym, and a short little drive into town. The unit itself was wonderful! Very clean, comfortable beds, great views. Having a lower unit worked out really well for us with 3 kids - only a handful of steps to the golf cart and to the pool. We had a few random questions while we were staying there and got very quick responses over texts. Overall I highly recommend. We definitely will stay again!

Beautiful Views

Easy check in, great communication and hosts were easily accessible. Can’t beat the views! Golf cart was included (although tricky to drive). Unit was clean but kitchen could use some more supplies and some updating. Beds and pillows were comfortable. 10 minute golf cart ride to the stores and to restaurants. 5 minute ride to Descano Beach Club.

Lovely

The location was beautiful but please note that there are stairs within the actual condo - it is a trip hazard at night for older people. Also, toilet handle and door handle in master toilet room needs to be fixed. Quality of pots and pans could be better in a rental at this price level. Please note WHERE you buy gas for the golf cart on forms to renters - it was very difficult to find and only one place when you are trying to get the key to rental office by 10 - having a grace period of even a 1/2 hour would have been appreciated. Beautiful location but you have to have a golf cart or take taxi to the main part of town. We enjoyed our stay but felt disconnected from the town. Thank you.

Loved it!

The condo was quite beautiful and very well layed out. It felt great and was so nice to have the golf cart. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to come”home” to this condo. The only bad thing was whoever cleaned it missed the kitchen countertops and cabinets. There were fingerprints everywhere including walls and switch plates. Other than that I’d say it was pretty close to perfect!!!

House was great! Nice layout and good looking decor.

Only 4 flights of steps up to the unit, which is pretty good at Hamilton Cove.This unit is 2bed with King beds, but has a blow up if you need to sleep another person. My only complaint is the unit is looking run down and needs a fresh coat of paint. The golf cart is a must so its nice that it is provided. The one that comes with this unit seats 4 and is in big need of new brakes...luckily you don't drive very fast!

Nice place, needs some updates

Stayed here with my family for three nights Jan 2018, total of 5 people. Overall, it was OK. Be aware that even though it says it sleeps 6, there are only 2 beds. I thought the other bed would be a sleeper sofa. It was not. After lots of looking, we found an air mattress in one of in one of the closets. It turned out to be a twin which was a little tough for my 6 ft son. Overall, the place just needs to be updated a bit.

Beautiful location but dirty interior for the price

Although we enjoyed our stay at this condo, we were surprised at the lack of cleanliness and amenities. The kitchen sink grate was full of food leftovers and dirt. There was simply an overall level of being unkempt. This condo was very expensive and for this price, we would expect a thorough cleaning before our arrival. Also, the website says this condo sleeps six. Unfortunately, the couch is divided into several sections made of wicker which makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on the couch. There was a blow up mattress but it had a whole in it so deflated in the middle of the night and needed to be pumped back up several times throughout the night. If this condo sleeps six, then there should be beds for 6 or at least a fold out couch or an air mattress that actually works. Again, we don;t have a problem paying this price for a 2 bedroom condo in Catalina, but it should be clean and kept up. I expressed my concerns at checkout but was sort of brushed aside. Notes were taken but there was not an overall sense of concern. We will not be returning to this condo.
