The space was small, as advertised. Essentially a studio apartment with the living area, kitchen and bed all in the same space (The bathroom was a separate room with a door). The areas were separated visually, if not physically, so it didn't feel like a hotel room with a kitchen. I want to be clear, the single "space" was big enough to include a queen bed, night stands, two couches, a small dining table, shelving and a baby grand piano. The only thing we missed was a place to hang clothes. While it's probably not practical to build a fixed closet, a wardrobe would have nice. There were hooks that accommodated a few hangers. Aesthetically it was delightful. A cottage behind the owner's house. Flowers, trees...the picture is accurate. We could park in the driveway mere steps from the door. A small deck off the side provided a private space for coffee in the morning. The host was beyond wonderful. She made sure the property was accessible, greeted us, made herself available, but didn't hover. She even searched for some lost earrings after we left (we eventually found them in the car). The location was a comfortable walk to "Maine Street" and a grocery store. We selected the location (Brunswick, ME) because it was central to a number of day-trip locations.All-in-all, a great little place for a couple in a great location. I would stay there again without question.
