I fell in the parking lot on garbage and mud and hit my hip off the concrete curb the tv in the room kept shutting off so I called the front desk and after being put on hold and waiting 15 mins got no help so I stopped by the front desk as I was looking for hair conditioner and a spoon or fork anyway an hour later someone showed up with body wash and a bar of soap and after standing in the room for 20 mins said there was nothing he could do I explained I could not sleep without the tv he said he would send someone in the morning said he didn’t have another room available to move us to but my daughter checked the site and there was 4 rooms available as I was not able to sleep from 1:30 am til approximately 3:45 there was shouting laughing and door slamming going on because of the unwillingness to help earlier I could not bring myself to call the front desk again there was popcorn on the floor beside my bed it was about a cup and the view from the balcony was a dirty diaper check in time was very long the lady that took care of us didn’t seem to care that we had a very long day and just wanted to get to our room and relax we made reservations so I was under the impression that she did not have all the information that we gave when making the reservation the whole experience was horrible and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

This is false advertising. This property is NOT located at or near the airport. It cost my mom $45 to take a taxi from YYC to this hotel. I recommend just spending the $200 to get a room at the airport as you will save some money. There is no shuttle offered here either.

Very Disappointing - Biohazard Issues

The outside of the property is very poorly maintained. From the street if there weren't cars in the parking lot, you'd think the place is abandoned. The main floor hallways and decor are clearly updated, but nothing else is other than the artwork hanging in the hallways. Our room didn't even have artwork - just a hook on the wall where something used to hang. The hallways leading to the rooms are aged, the carpets have massive stains all over the place and the walls are quite damaged. One elevator has a carpet so old and worn that it's become a tripping hazard. Neither the pop machine or ice machine on the fourth floor worked. The room had little splatter stains on the door and walls, but the blood on the bathroom doorframe was too much. It was brought to the staff's attention and after requesting for it to be dealt with twice, a maintenance person quickly wiped it off of the frame and left. We learned the following day that AHS requirements for cleaning blood were not followed - not even close. Realistically we should have been moved to another room to allow for proper biohazard cleanup protocols to be followed. No apologies or rate discounts were offered at checkout - a pretty standard practice when issues like bodily fluids in the room come up. For a hotel that has QR codes all over the lobby asking for online reviews, this issue was handled incredibly poorly. Biohazard concerns are common in hotels - all staff should be aware of the basic requirements for cleanup.

Well first off, the water in the broken down hot tub has been sitting way to long it looks absolutely repulsive and disgusting. Obviously we would love to use the hot tub but it’s 2025 and I suppose it’s a lot to expect for $140 a night that the hot tub works but at the very least drain the water so it isn’t gross, the pool was also freezing and over chlorinated. Then I went to order a beer and was extremely disappointed that I had no option to get a beer, a wine, or any drink at all. This is a hotel in Canada.

I called to check on the hot water in my bathtub, but staff didn't come for nearly 40 minutes. Without even a single apology, they said they were busy, that there was no facility team member, and to wait 5 more minutes. I waited some more, but they never came to check. So I called again, and they said they were busy and to wait another 5-10 minutes, without even a single apology. When they finally came to check. The hot water knob in the bathtub worked in the opposite direction of its color. Do you think that makes sense? I ended up waiting for over 40 minutes, and the employee only apologized after 40 minutes. I’ll never stay here again. staff was so rude.
