The positive: The room was updated and clean. The negative: We had a room right behind the elevators. The noises and vibration from the elevators was non stop. We hardly slept due to the walls vibrating and booming noises every time the evaluators went up and down which was basically non stop. This should not be a room for anyone to sleep in! It should be converted into a storage room or something other than putting paying guest in! At 8pm the pool was freezing cold and dirty. There is no operational thermostat in the room and it was hot and stuffy. Zero air flow and no fan. When I expressed our poor non sleeping experience at checkout with the front desk the lady didn’t seem concerned at all. Unfortunately we are starting our Calgary vacation tiered and a little grumpy from the lack of sleep!

Great hotel

Another lovely stay, we always stay here when visiting Calgary. Very comfortable bed, clean rooms and excellent dining options as well as a wonderful breakfast

Very clean and well appointed room with a great view of downtown. Very comfortable bed and pillows and nice lounge chairs in the room. Serious hilight was the outdoor pool, despite it being under repair for the heating, the pool side service and drinks and food and pool deck loungers were all amazing we had a great time on a sunny August day. Special mention to the property owners who despite their age, still work the dinning room during breakfast service making all their guests feel welcome and serving a delicious buffet breakfast included with our room.
