Check in was a nightmare. Counter was understaffed... For the 2nd year in a row. Our room had random hotel staff in it when we arrived, with a suspect excuse for being the room. Hallways were dirty. Pool area was nice. The whole hotel and Casino seemed sorely understaffed.

The first room they gave us did smell like smoke, even though the rooms are non smoking, but they moved us very easily to another room. Staff was great.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have an extra blanket in the room for the cold winter nights. Our refrigerator was not working, so that was disappointing. Other than that, we will definitely return. It is a very nice place to stay.

Room was spotless, staff on my floor was excellent.Weda nickname and her staff I was in room 2012 for 4 stays went over and above to make sure I was taken care of. Also the staff at lobby desk went over and above to make sure I could keep same room all 4 nights. Paid for 2 nights, because of flooding in california my guests could not fly into denver because of delays and cancellations. I added 2 more nights hoping they could arrive, no luck.So my xmas family for 4 days was ameristar staff of weda and her team, firestone grill team, I ate there all 4 days no where else,food was excellent , lobby overnight crew, day crew also, the pool and outside whirlpool was clean, water temperatures perfect. I stay in alot of hotels has a high school, and offseason college 🏀, and girls flag football 🏈 official all year round.5 star expereince. Sincerely Gino Mares
