Stayed here for one night, enjoyed my experience. Location is fantastic, quick walk to stores and restaurants. Cozy room with nice bedding. There are four rooms on the premises, and we were located downstairs. We could hear the folks upstairs moving about quite often, and it does feel like the noise was quite loud at times. Could just be the nature of an older home.

We were surprised after reading all the 10/10 reviews- I would give it a 1/10. Our room was in the basement (which we were not told before). When we arrived there was no heat (December!), so they brought down dirty, dusty space heaters. Windows have cracked glass. Parts of the walls are crumbling (by the shower). When we told the owner to salt the driveway because my husband slipped on ice, he was rude and said "where do you come from?" The driveway was very steep and not easily accessible. I imagine that the people who rated the place well DID NOT have basement rooms. This should be listed on the ads.
Plaster falling apart by shower
Cracked window pane
Ceiling on the way to basement room
Uneven floors

The property is an old historic home. The hosts have done a nice job making it into a quaint inn feeling place. Our rooms were lovely. High ceilings lots of neat historic detail, floor to ceiling windows. The bath was basic but shower was good and great towels. Biggest asset is the great walkable location to restaurants etc. we had a quick but enjoyable stay

We grew up in Kingston so we are very familiar with old quaint homes. This was advertised as such and that is NOT what this was. It looked nothing like the pictures on the website. It was dirty. The windows are old and falling apart. The cushions on the furniture were so worn out we couldn’t sit on it. The closets were filthy. If I were there for a formal event I’d never hang clothes in them. Parking was a disaster. It’s down a very steep driveway and the parking area looked like a ghetto with old rusty tricycles , grills, and broken furniture. The doorknob on our entry door was literally dangling on a loose broken screw! We didn’t know who the owner was or if he was a property manager. He never spoke to us ( odd because the reviews said how welcoming this owner was) He certainly never checked to see how ouraccommodation's were. Our impression was that the Wiltwyk is not fit to be rented. It needs a lot of repair work and facility maintainence along with a crash course in customer service . We DO NOT recommend this as a place to stay in Kingston. Don’t believe the website.

She was excellent and friendly 😊

She was amazing, everything cleaned, comfotable bed and pillow, a little cozy coffee table and tea. The area is good. The place is closer to the restaurants, shopping 🛍 ☺️ and the Gym.

This was a great stay! We stayed in the apartment. Very clean. Coffee (via French press) was good. Area is very walkable. Suited us very well. The fridge was very loud. Not sure if that's just how it sounds in a small space, but it was working just fine.
