Posted Nov. 24, 2023 on HotelsDefinitely not what we expected. Nothing that was advertised was available, not even the pool. Arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday and the young guy at the desk was getting ready to leave our key in an envelope taped to the door so he could leave, we caught him just in time. Asked about the pool and other accommodations and “he did not know”. Was extremely boring sitting in the room with none of the activities that were advertised available. Didn’t even see a horse :(

The rooms small bad poor lighting needs updating in the 1970’s bathroom
We came in no one check us in no Id check
Our name on the counter with in a white envelope will not come back here again

Location was beautiful, the grounds are amazing. We came off season so restaurant/bar were both closed. Newly renovated rooms.

Perfect location: close to the main drag in the village and close to the outlets going the other way. The cleanliness was a little lacking, as there was some hair and toothpaste on the bathroom sink and money left on the nightstand. The property is under new ownership and has great potential. Excited to see the changes that are to come.
