Roman Road Eastside London

This is a historic neighbourhood with some interesting sites. Look online for Roman Road - Old Ford neighbourhood which has become an enjoyable multi-cultural community, the ethnic shops and restaurants and even the Tesca nearby for getting groceries. On Saturdays and two other days a week a market fills the street in front with a variety of goods including clothing at amazing prices. By bus an hour to St. Paul's Cathedral, but if you use the tube from Bethnal Green, it's faster. The tube itself is more old-fashioned than in the newer areas but functions well.
