The Hotel was let down the Chef and kitchen staff having no understanding of Celiac Disease and the importance of Gluten Free , The chef though we were a pain and the GF guide they provided was unsafe and wrong , We also spoke with Food and Beverage manager who apologised but had limited GF experience , not good when the staff would be looking at this person for training and advise .
The hotel refunded breakfast but i would never eat here again

I was given a room on the 7th floor, directly underneath the work happening to the outside of the hotel. From 8.20am the drilling, hammering and grinding vibrated the room and the noise made working from the room
Impossible. Front desk offered me the option to work from the lobby which was not appropriate and told me a room change wasn’t possible as she wasn’t authorised to do that. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one want available until 3pm. I explained I had work
Commitments that evening but was assured a manager would call me. They didn’t and upon check out, I still hadn’t heard from anyone. Expedia helpfully contacted the hotel and we are still waiting for a response. There also was no housekeeping at all which was disappointing. This would be a great hotel if they serviced the rooms and also if you don’t need to be in the room from 8am-4pm. If you do, steer clear of this hotel.

Limited breakfast selections. Lack of storage space in room for clothing. No instructions for tv usage. Found out after two days that you need to press a 1 to engage the service. The light switch for the bathroom also controlled the overhead lights in the bedroom.
Stayed 2 nights Hotel and room not warm. Room too dark. Glad to be home and have shower in warm bathroom.
Staff were lovely, no complaints there.
No complaints about food.
Chocolate bar open and bare on the floor.

Unable to turn on the bathroom light without lighting ALL of the Lights in the mainroom is mental. Someone needs the bathroom then everyone asleep have ALL the bright lights turned on until finished.
Spare switch unused could be used and if i had tools would have do it myself.
⚠️ WARNING!! you have to let them know if you want new towels, room service, and rooms cleaned, maybe end before you get there,?

Location was good, only a 5 minute walk to the train station. Bar area was nice, breakfast was good could have done with being abit warmer
We had a very good stay. The trainee receptionist, Emily, was extremely warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a good breakfast. We enjoyed the welcome cookies too!
