The hotel has all the things you need but the decor is a little tired. The staff work very hard and all in all for a basic place to stay it fulfilled our needs.
The hotel was in need of a deep clean and redecoration. We only stayed as convenient to the tube station. It was really a run down B&B. Someone trying to get in our room at 7am the last day was the last straw. I only took a few pictures showing the plug socket contraption that I'm sure is no longer legal. The tiny bathroom was quite disgusting. The windows looked as though they had never been cleaned. Everything was old and dirty. Our beds were not made and we didnt get fresh towels. Very disappointed with Hotel.com whom I booked with. Thought they actually checked hotels they listed.
Awful!!!! Turned up after booking through booking. Com.. Battled through traffic to find this place only to be told I had not booked a room.. Strange as my name was on his computer screen!!!! I got told rudely no room was available!!! So glad as on first impressions this place is not good!!!! Full refund from booking. Com.. Avoid if possible
The location was great but that was it was tired, in need of an update, the wiring looked unsafe, the bedside lights didnt work, the bed mattress was unsupportive and u could feel every spring and the shower was dirty. So we didnt use
Probably the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. Left the property within 15mins of arrival. The smell in the room was unbearable, really wouldn't recommend staying here.
Well my first visit to this hotel its states luxury rooms outside the hotel its never luxury!! the room needed a make over the bedroom windows were dirty the shower was good and the toilet sort of worked after a few goes!! The breakfast that was included well two over cooked fried eggs with toast not exactly the full english!! The guy running hotel was alright he looked after my bags while ventured out for the day. I not the sort of person who complains i just wont stay there again
The hotel was convenient for my needs, as it is a few minutes walk from the underground, which is why I booked it. I had read the reviews and wasn't expecting luxury, even though that is what it states on the outside of the building.
The receptionist was welcoming and friendly BUT I asked for a quiet room, as I am a hopeless sleeper, but the room was right on the road, so I didn't sleep during my stay.
The shower was so dirty, that I refused to use it. The carpet was dirty and the furniture is stained and tatty.
I could not face breakfast as the stay was so disappointing. Sorry but I cannot recommend this property.
This is honestly the worst hotel Iâve ever stayed in. Broken curtain rail, vinyl floor tiles loose in the bathroom, no soap, mouldy bath, stained bedding, mattress and pushchair abandoned in the public areas. Breakfast comprised coffee and cheap white bread toasted with either butter or jam. Definitely avoid here, I can believe they get away with charging ÂŁ120 a night. A complete rip off.
Room on ground overlooking garden windows were open unable to close them as neither had handles or locks. No toilet roll, no plug in the sink. no wastepaper bin and no tea/coffee and milk, just cups and saucers and a kettle obviously room not serviced properly.
Breakfast, an insult to call it so.
Very much overpriced for such bad standards.
