Enjoyed our stay at LSE Bankside

This accommodation is perfectly adequate with a great location for amenities and everything that London has to offer. We had a basic room with private bathroom and although the decor is a little basic/tired, it was clean and comfortable with extras in the room - kettle, plenty of tea, coffee, milk (noteworthy, as you often have ask for more!) and toiletries. Helpful, polite staff and on requesting a couple of extra pillows, they were given to us straight away. There was a wonderful breakfast choice, though there is a queue to get in, worth noting if you are in a hurry. I wonder if there is a way that this could be improved? We stayed for one night and would definitely stay again.

Typical student accommodation, took me back in time! Having said that, it was brilliant for what I needed. The room and bathroom were super clean, the bed was comfy. The breakfast choice was incredible! There was a fire alarm late and night when I was there, which was handled calmly. I’d definitely stay again.

Location is outstanding, as it has the Tate Modern in front, food options and shops are nearby as well. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Breakfast is included and a great option.

Excellent!

Everything you want from a weekend hotel, crucially with nothing else you don't need! Superb setup from reception, to bag storage to the rooms and breakfast the next day. Rooms are simple, comfortable and quiet.

Another good stay here

Was upgraded on this visit. A very nice surprise but it was on the ground floor, close to/facing the entrance. Lovely room, very eco friendly. But I do prefer a quieter location All the staff are incredibly friendly, very happy and enthusiastic, coping admirably with a seemingly endless queue of guests Breakfast is excellent

Positives outweigh the negatives.

Positives: Great location, clean room, really good power shower, comfy bed, great breakfast. Negatives: Loud slamming doors and too hot even with a fan and the window open.
