This is a nice, new boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room was nice. It was studio apartment. However, we had a few complaints. 1. The bathroom did not have outlets for anything other than electric shavers. The voltage in the bathroom outlet differed from standard UK voltage. We found this very odd. I could only blow dry my hair in the hallway while I sat on the floor in front of the mirror. 2. The elevators broke continuously during our stay. 3. The door to our room did not have a deadbolt, which made me feel uneasy. Any member of the staff could have entered our room at any time without a deadbolt to stop them. 4. The lids to the trashcans in the room did not fit in the cabinet, so we could not close the cabinet to the trash (under the kitchen sink) without taking the lids off. These are all minor issues, and overall out stay was nice.

The welcome from the reception staff was friendly and efficient every time...they genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. The room was amazing and really set us up for our 3 nights exploring London and for our onward journey on the Eurostar to Lille. VERY comfy bed, no noise, coffee, tea, TV ....full kitchen facilities.... what more could you want - we found it difficult to leave!

Ideally placed, close to Victoria Station. Nice choice of places to eat within an easy walk. Room was really good, very comfortable, excellent kitchen area and very clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

Perfect!

Loved our stay here over the August bank holiday weekend. We stayed in a studio which was the perfect size for us. Having the kitchen facilities was a bonus! Decor is beautiful, staff really helpful and location is perfect for exploring London. We would definitely stay again.

I could not fulfill my stay at this hotel due to an airline strike. The hotel would not move on its “non refundable” stance even with the strike beyond my control. In addition just before I was to leave my home country, I was some urgent medical information. If I got stuck in London I would have lost the surgery date, and I have been waiting for years. As it stands, the strike is still not resolved. Have a heart!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room had hob/oven/microwave/fridge freezer/dish washer, so eating in was definitely an option had we not eaten out. The room wasn't huge but a lot of effort had gone into making the layout as efficient as possible. Overall, the hotel had a great vibe and we left having had a very positive experience.

Overall, the hotel is lovely. As a relatively new property, every area looks immaculate and I cannot fault my room. Ideally located for Victoria station, restaurants and pubs, grocery stores and more, I can’t recommend The July highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!
