The room strikes you as very futuristic when you walk in but it's practicality lacked on several fronts. There were no drawers to unpack into, and the only place to hang clothes was hooks on the wall. There was no place to hang towels to dry. The light in the bathroom was too dim to properly shave by. While the frosted glass of the bathroom blurred the view, if you like privacy while sat on the throne this definitely doesn’t provide it. There was an ironing board on the floor for use of all the rooms but there was no iron in sight. My room was located on the 4th floor. While yey apologized for the lift not working when i arrived, when it did work it turned out it only covers have the hotel and i still had to climb the stairs. The hotel is very centrally located with easy walking distance to Covenant Garden and Leicester Square. The underground was just a 2 minute walk. While you'd expect a centrally located hotel to be higher priced i felt overall it it was overpriced for what it offwred., especially when breakfast is not included

Lift is broken, which could be an issues we were on 1st floor so okay with kids. Top bunk has less air flow and felt stuffy, making it a bit harder for kids to settle. But room exactly what we needed

The staff were very helpful. I was particularly impressed at how quickly they got an iron and ironing board to me when asked. I would have liked to have a fresh towel, and to have the room made up between my first and second nights, but apparently that needs to be requested more than a day before, which is less than ideal on a short visit. I'm sure if I'd asked, they would have done it, though. Generally, I was impressed and happy. Apart from the very, very bright green emergency exit light which could not be turned off. I think it's a legal requirement to have one, but surely they could get a dimmer option. Other than that, though, great little place, excellent location, good value for central London.
