Avoid, spend a bit more at the Courtyard next door

Our stay here was a disaster. The initial room we were assigned was for a double bed, a single bed and a crib.. we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers! Could be the fault of hotels. com as this occurred at another hotel during our vacation. We had to spend ÂŁ30 to 'upgrade'. The next room was awful (502). No air conditioning - yes it gets warm in London in summer. No soap or shampoo in the room, 1 towel for 4 of us. Toilet wasn't even cleaned from previous guest. Awful. The next day during breakfast, there was a fire in the room next to ours :( (check google if you do not believe me). Spent 4 hours in the car park waiting for the fire to been under control. Though not directly the fault (cause of fire not known) of the hotel, the management were totally useless during the evacuation and management of guests in the car park. They couldn't use a loudspeaker, the leadership was non-existent and the information provided was insufficient. Wanted to change hotel, but they wouldn't except this and put us in another room (116) which was dirty, hot and extremely noisy - train and self storage facility next to the window. So happy to leave this hotel. Will spend more and stay at the Holiday Inn (better quality) or Courtyard (better quality and closer to the airport).

Emplacement idéal si vius decez vous rendre à l'Excel London ! HÎtel propre et confortable, personnel accueillant ! Dommage que le wifi gratuit ne soit valable que 30 min toutes les 24h !

Very close to London City Airport, check-in was easily done as reception is open until late at night. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well. This hotel is perfect for those who have a flight departing from LCY early in the following morning.

My room was never cleaned for my entire visit. Trash was never picked up in my room for my entire visit. The towels were never replaced for my entire visit.

First of all cleanliness it's poor, you can find hairs in bath, brown limescale in toilet or sinks and catpet poorly hoovered. Waiting time for bar styaff be available its ridiculous. But when they arrive, staff overall friendly. Car park for residents its paid separately (2 days 18 pounds). Also coffee services need a big upgrade but staff are brilliant.

Nettes Personal.gute Lage. Leider wurde in fast 5 Tagen nicht einmal der MĂŒll geleert im Zimmer oder Toilette Papier nach gefĂŒllt 
wo wir erst nachfragen mussten . Und bei der Ankunft war die junge Frau an der Rezeption ziemlich erkĂ€ltet und zum anderen Personal unfreundlich
macht leider kein gutes Bild
..alle anderen waren sehr freundlich

No aircon, so to keep cool you have to open a window and listen to trains or planes. Tv remote did not work. No soap in soap dispenser. Staff either great or hopeless. Low price, but not worth it.

Poorest hotel I’ve stayed in. It was little different to a motel. I often stay in 3 and 2 star but this was weak. The bathroom resembled PE facilities and the tap barely worked, when it did it sprayed far out of the sink. No service on my cell phone in the hotel room which would have been ok, but wifi costs GBP 3 per day per device
.in 2021! Staff seemed uninterested but I can barely blame them. Room was barely cleaned and window left open by staff to allow out smells.

O hotel estĂĄ bem localizado, prĂłximo ao London City airport, cerca de 10min a pĂ©. Os funcionĂĄrios sĂŁo muitos simpĂĄticos, a Ășnica observação Ă© que o quarto poderia estar mais limpo. Gostei do fato de terem colocado sabonete no chuveiro, eu havia visto esta reclamação em avaliaçÔes anteriores e fiquei feliz em ver que o hotel ouviu os hĂłspedes. Eu me hospedaria la novamente.

Tipp topp fĂŒr einen frĂŒhen Abflug ab LCY. 10 minuten Fußweg. Mit DLR auch vom Stadtzentrum gut erreichbar.
