The colony at Westwood is one of a kind hidden treasure in the heart of Westwood. As you walk through the entrance, you find yourself in a serene oasis filled with sounds of waterfalls creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere within the city. Well-appointed and thoughtfully designed with a vast array of amenities make this the perfect place to call home.

Your surroundings comprise of waterfalls, a koi pond, heated pool, hot tub, fitness room, sauna, steam room, sundeck, furnished patio areas, and a meeting/conference room. The complex features a 24-hour security guard/doorman and gated parking.

This beautiful resort style building is centrally located in Westwood. A short stroll to UCLA (less than a mile) & Westwood village, walking distance to theaters, grocery stores, Target, various restaurants, Armand Hammer Museum, the Fowler Museum, the Geffen Playhouse, creates a charming urban living.

A large park with lighted tennis courts lighted outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, lighted baseball diamond, racquetball courts, indoor swimming pool, jogging path, playgrounds, barbecue pits, picnic tables are conveniently located across the street from the complex.
This newly renovated one bedroom has an open floor plan, which allows for entertaining both on a large or intimate scale. The contemporary kitchen with modern cabinets and stainless steel appliances, includes a cook-top, large oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, blender, coffee machine, as well as a Nespresso machine.

The large living room is tastefully designed with original art and modern style furnishings. The unit is equipped with Bluetooth enabled sound system, 42-inch LCD Sony television, Blu-ray DVD player, home theater surround sound system.
The functional home office space is equipped with free local and long distance phone, desk, bookshelves, computer with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 and a WiFi multifunction printer.

The generous master suite has a queen size bed, hypoallergenic pillows and duvet, two nightstands, ample closet space, 32-inch screen LCD TV and an alarm clock.

A twin size (39″W x 75″L x 19 H) “Castro Convertible Ottoman” foldout bed is available for the third guest. By day, the ottoman is a great additional seating in the living room, with a beautiful slipcover that hides the mattress. At night, just lift off the slipcover and pull out the mattress and you have an instant bed with super sleep comfort. The twin size bed has a 5″ thick latex-free “Castropedic mattress” which is the most comfortable in the industry. The bed is made of sturdy hardwood slats and steel frame construction, you feel no metal bars.

The bathroom features a large glass enclosed shower with seating, rain shower, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, bathrobes as well as spa sleepers. Just bring your toothbrush.

A washer and dryer, iron and ironing table are located in the unit for your convenience.

This condominium comes with an oversized private patio and includes a beautiful private garden and patio furniture, giving it a townhouse feel.

Great location ! Great Property Owner ! 4.5 STAR

First of all, the property owner, Ari, is wonderful making himself available and responsive at all times. The location is fantastic within walking distance to Westwood Village for everything from restaurants, stores and many grocery stores. This was extremely enjoyable for us as driving in LA is not easy. It is approximately 25 mins. to the Beach but is it almost a straight run down Pico Blvd (which we chose as being the least busy). One thing that we were worried about from the pictures before arriving at the property was storage. When staying at a venue for a month or more a great amount of storage is needed and this property has an entry hallway to the bedroom with TREMENDOUS STORAGE CLOSETS that saved us. The apartment size washer/dryer in the condo was very convenient and the complex laundry rooms for large loads had new appliances and were very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and everything else you will need. The parking garage is convenient and the parking spot for the condo is right outside the entry door to the bldg. The neighborhood is lovely and we walked both day and night and felt very comfortable. A problem we had was that the owner's cleaning team let him down and did not clean the floors well, including along the baseboards and behind items that were easily movable. Unfortunately, the property was due to be painted and the walls were in pretty bad shape in places which made us a little uncomfortable but the lucky people coming in now will NOT have that problem. Thanks Ari for caring.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo for a month as the location was convenient for our purposes. We lucked out as the unit is lovely, clean and very well kept. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym available on premises. The owner and his wife are extremely helpful and are readily available for anything you may need. The unit is a few blocks from Westwood Village where you'll find many restaurants, 2 movie theaters and anything else you could possibly want. Highly recommended for solo travelers or 2 people . Very cute, nice place...

A very beautiful unit in a very nice neighborhood. Few minutes walk to famous Westwood with groceries and restaurants. The back garden with pool is a very cozy spot to relax and is also nice for those who like to exercise or use the steam room and sauna. Covered, gated parking was very conveniently close to the unit. In unit washer and dryer was a big plus, a very nice spacious shower.. The best among all is the host, who is very generous. You will find all the amenities waiting for you, even has thought of your breakfast! Ari is very easy and fast to get in touch with, and this is very convenient. He makes sure everything is ok and he really cares. You really feel welcomed. I hope his professional cleaning team would never let him down again, because he really does care for his guest's comfort.. Thank you Ari for your great hospitality and caring...

A very pleasant West LA Apt

This apartment is very nicely decorated and a pleasant size for two. The location is ideal if your primary area of interest is Westwood. It is also conveniently located for easy access to the 405 and 10 interstates. Restaurants and grocery shopping are easily accessed on foot, thus avoiding the difficulty of finding a parking spot in the area. The owner is congenial and interested in making your stay enjoyable.

Lovely apartment

I stayed at Ari's beautifully decorated apartment for a weekend to visit my daughter who attends UCLA. The apartment was an easy walk to campus and Westwood Village, and right across the street from a park. The apartment was fully equipped with everything one needs, including a well stocked kitchen, a washer/drier, and even robes and slippers! And Ari left many nice touches when I arrived--a bottle of wine, breakfast foods, and snacks. That made my visit even nicer. I loved the red chairs and the art. The bed was very comfortable, and the patio was a nice place to sit outside for a bit. The only down side was construction noise in the apartment next door, just for one day, and that will probably not be a problem soon. Ari was an excellent host, and I want to return with my husband next time, when we visit my daughter. I have stayed in many VRBO places, and this was one of the best.

Clean, comfy, quiet, incredibly well stocked, and walking distance to Westwood Blvd

I highly recommend this property. My wife had surgery at UCLA, and we live in Wash state, so we needed a place close to the hospital, where she could recover for a few days before traveling back home. Ari was very professional, and met us at the property to get us settled in. This is the most well stocked apartment we have rented anywhere in the world....beer and wine, snacks, toothbrushes, robes...etc, etc. It is only a couple of blocks walk to Westwood Blvd, where there is a multitude of restaurants, shops, grocery store....everything you might need, and no problem if you don't have a car. If you do have a car, secured parking is literally right outside the apartment door, which was great for my wife post surgery. Nice place to stay, and nice owners to work with.
