The room had bad smells. they had to changed to another room it’s was better, old bedrooms, , no coffee supplies. . Close to universal, a lot of homeless in the area.

This place is adorable, but the bedding was dirty, and so was the carpet. If you choose to stay here some rooms have carpet others have hard wood floor. I recommend bringing slides for walking on the carpet. If you take a shower and step on the carpet or even when they’re dry your feet turn black and it feels sticky. The office people were very nice.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was nice in a pinch. I wouldnt want to stay for longer than a night, but it was affordable. Lots of places to get food within walking distance. You could tell that they are slowly remodeling the rooms. Our bathroom was fairly new looking but the room could use an upgrade. Id definitely stay again if I needed something quick and cheap.

Wish I could rate higher.

I really wanted to give a higher rating. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was so convenient to get to Universal Studios, literally down the street. The room was clean, air conditioner worked great and plenty of parking. My complaint is the beds, they were so hard. The king bed didn't even bend when you sat on it. It was difficult to sleep.

Overall it was okay, nothing to write home about. AC tends to make the bed closer to and the carpet wet and cold. Beds weren’t great, they concave on you but for price it’s decent. Definitely a pay what you get for hotel but it was close to Universal driving.

People smoking in rooms near making ours smell disgusting. Absolutely disgusting sheets with weird stains and felt itchy when waking up. Last night had people above us stomping, moving furniture, and being so loud I got less than 2 hours of sleep.

Clean enough just to sleep very close to universal studios. The AC had a very weird smell coming from it and the staff did not pick up the phone or very rarely did after calling multiple times through the day but did answer texts. If you're just sleeping here its perfect, not fancy but just alright. Quite a few guests were being a bit loud/inconsiderate late into the night.
