A designer's loft in the middle of West Hollywood. Arched windows run floor to ceiling, pouring light across the concrete floors. Low leather chairs sit on a jute rug, a walnut table stretches long enough for eight under paper lanterns, and a wall of built-in drawers gives the room a gallery's calm â a true Mid-Century Modern jam. The kitchen is fully equipped for anything from morning coffee to a dinner for the table. Off the living room, double doors open onto a private balcony in the treetops, a single palm rising above the green. There's a king bedroom, a second room built as a proper office, a coffee shop on the ground floor, and parking in the garage. That said, the location is the crown jewel: you're in the heart of West Hollywood, steps from the restaurants along Santa Monica Boulevard and minutes from the Sunset Strip. Every guest who reviewed it this past year gave the location five stars.
The Space:
Arched doorways carry you from one room to the next, a trace of the building's Spanish architecture that gives the loft more shape than an open plan usually allows. The bedroom is a retreat of its own, dark-wood nightstands flanking the bed and a window seat that holds the afternoon sun. The office earns the name, with a long desk, shelves of books, and low armchairs for the hours that aren't work. A half bath serves the living area while the full bath sits near the bedroom, and the ceilings run high enough throughout that the place keeps growing on you the longer you stay.
Guest Access:
The loft is yours entirely: both rooms, the bath and a half, the living and dining areas, the full kitchen, and the private balcony. You'll have a king bed, a proper workspace, two televisions with Roku, fast Wi-Fi, central air, and a washer and dryer in the unit. Self check-in by keypad means you arrive on your own schedule, and parking is included in the building's garage.
The Neighborhood:
You could let a whole day pass without leaving the block. Javista sits on the ground floor, an easy place to start the morning over coffee or linger with a matcha and a pastry. A few doors west, Laurel Hardware serves dinner and cocktails inside a converted hardware store that kept its old facade, and the night carries on from there. When you want the full LA ritual, Erewhon is a short drive for the cold-pressed everything and the people-watching that comes with it. Runyon Canyon is close for the morning climb, and the beaches at Santa Monica are an easy run west when the city's had its turn.
Getting Around:
Central to most of Los Angeles. You can walk to dinner and drive anywhere in the city without much fuss. Rideshare arrives in minutes, Metro and bus lines run nearby, and LAX is twelve miles south. Parking is included in the garage, which spares you the West Hollywood street-parking education most visitors get.
Other Things to Note:

We had a combo work/family/getaway visit, and this was a great home base. Large, light-filled and spacious, close to restaurants and museums, with a great coffee shop and breakfast burrito place right there. Also very conveniently located near our extended family. This is a cool space with a comfortable layout. There was good space for hanging out with family and also private space for working. Loved the weights, yoga mat and workout props - always nice for a post-flight refresh.Leo was always responsive when we had a question.
