Charming stay

Wonderful stay at the Biltmore. The service was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. It could use a little updating but it fits the old world charm theme. I would book again if I was in the area.

Granted it’s an old historic property, but the hotel is not in the five-star range. Chipped paint, bathroom amenities unhinged, tiny bath accommodations, and no water glasses. The old girl is run down, and has too much deferred maintenance.

The hotel is clean and the staff is nothing but friendly, but I have major issues with some of the infrastructure and service. I am disabled, and was there for an event being hosted throughout the weekend. It was really fun, but the handicap lifts are in complete disarry, I got stuck on the lift multiple times, each lift works differently, locked me inside, and other such things. I am lucky to be able to walk short distances. If I wasn't able to use my legs things would have been much much worse. On top of this, the handicap elevator was constantly being used by people who werent handicapped or by staff as a cargo elevator, making using it a nightmare when you see 4 people huddled into an elevator made for at most 1 person in a wheelchair and their loved one. I also have an issue with service at this hotel. Everything is an app, call the front desk to order room service, they say use the app, I use the app, and it doesn't work because their wifi is swamped due to the event, so I call them again, they put me through to the hotel bar. Use the app. I say I can't, they put me through to the kitchen. Use the app. I can't, so they put me to the front desk. Repeat ad nauseam. Either fix the app or let us do it the old fashioned way. The hotel is historic and beautiful, and the staff has been great otherwise, but I can't recommend this place to anyone handicapped until they fix their infrastructure.

The beds were so comfortable clean and the room always had a fresh scent. I’m picky about hotel shampoos and these smelled really good, the staff was always on top of assisting without being asked. There is a lot of close nice restaurants, there’s a beautiful amazing authentic french bakery right down the walkway less than two minutes away. The other dining options were only about 5-15 minute walk as well as Chinatown, and Little Tokyo. Location of this hotel is perfect for everything.

Very historic, Art Deco hotel with extensive history of Hollywood heydays. Definitely must appreciate the nostalgic interior and architecture. Above all, the staff was impeccable! Everyone had a smile, friendly, welcoming and attentive. I left an item in my room, I called and it was promptly found. A link to file a lost report was sent immediately and my one additional phone call with an amazing staff member had my item returned asap!
