Cozy home in a quiet neighborhood
Publié le 9 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy parents and I were in Altadena for a wedding and stayed at this lovely little home. The host left some goodies for us upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed.

Family visit !
Publié le 21 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayVisited adult son in LA and along with adult daughter had a wonderful visit. Dinners in worked out well as it was an equipped kitchen. Outdoor grill also was nice to have. Great hiking nearby and overall was everything we wanted.

Older neighborhood, quiet
Publié le 5 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is showing its age, some exterior dry rot. There is a leak from some pipe under kitchen sink. Need upgraded hairdryer in master bath. But a quiet, pleasant neighborhood (other than a fire in carport across the street during the night with 5 fire trucks responding). Grocery stores and finer restaurants are some distance away. Surrounding hills/mountains are quite lovely.

Pleased to hear you how you enjoyed the lovely nearby hills/mountains. We have placed a new hairdryer in the master bath as you suggested and will certainly take a peak under the kitchen sink to see what's going on there. Thanks for sharing!

Altadena condo
Publié le 3 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayA great mid century condo with outdoor space. Fit 3 to 4 adults well. We used the BBQ and oven. All worked well. Only wish there was a string of outdoor lights on the patio so we could have eaten outside after sunset.

A Great Getaway

Compact, but not tight, it had everything we could have wanted, from the inviting living space and patio, to the well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Our only regret was that we didn’t have a few more days to spend in this great property and attractive neighborhood!

First time renting in California
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayShort winding road to this location from the main avenue. The property was super clean with comfortable beds , a comfortable sofa and chair and a nice patio. A few furniture pieces were well worn, though. We appreciated the books and although we just watched one tv at times, we had access to Netflix! We would stay here again. Note- I was under the impression I would see the mountains outside the door or windows but that wasn’t the case. We usually rent beach condos on the Gulf so my expectations were not realistic. We did see mountains coming and going from the apartment.

We are so glad we were able to host you on your first trip to California and especially pleased to hear you found our home super clean with comfortable beds which is so needed to ensure a restful vacation and nothing like some Netflix time! As much as you would like to stay again, we would love to have you! Our housekeeper has polished up our Vintage Mid-Century furniture to ensure it presents as lovely as it's intended for our future guests, and for you when you visit again - thank you for caring and sharing.

Great location

Kitchen was wonderfully equipped, beds were super comfy and the backyard/patio was great to hang out and bird watch. We had the pleasure of being awakened by a flock (?) of parrots - seriously wonderful - and enjoyed a daily visit from Sally the neighborhood cat.‘can’t wait to return!!

Excellent place for Rose Bowl
