Oceanfront Cottage On Sandy Carbon Beach – Pelican

This beautiful 1 bedroom that sleeps 4 is oceanfront with unobstructed panoramic ocean views. It has a large long deck and steps to a dry sandy beach just outside the vacation rental. There are pegged hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and accented with stainless steel appliances with plenty of counter space and a bar sink.

The rental has 1 bedroom with a king size bed. In addition there is a large sleeper sofa in the living room.

There is a washer & dryer on site for your convenience. Included with the rental is a one car garage and parking for an extra car. In addition, the property is gated for extra privacy.

The rental is beachfront on Carbon Beach which has been nicknamed “Billionaire’s Beach” and has unobstructed panoramic ocean views of Queens Necklace and Catalina Island. It is just yards from the famous Surfrider Beach, Malibu Pier, the Adamson House and world class restaurants.

You can plan for a wonderful, carefree, relaxing vacation at one of the best locations in Malibu. In addition to the amazing ocean views and the beach just steps away, nearby you’ll enjoy strolling through two shopping centers that are home to world-class shops and restaurants. When you are not on the beach, you can also enjoy the flat screen HD TVs, blue-ray, stereo with iPod connection, CD player and wi-fi. We provide all linens, towels, beach chairs, and gas barbeque, so you don't need to pack those essentials.

We are pet friendly and there is a pet fee.

Peaceful deck overlooking ocean was our morning respite. We were within a 20 min drive for everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely return.Only one true downside: We had an issue with sugar ants that the onsite contact was quick to try and address although it didn’t complete resolve.

It was the perfect getaway for me. I needed a place to just relax and reflect. The unit was clean and ready when I arrived. Angel was extremely helpful. I am limited in my ability to get around easily and he was very willing to help me get settled. I don’t know when I will be able to get back but it is definitely on my list of places to go. On the water!

Perfect location next to Malibu Pier. We were right on the water and listened to the waves crash below our deck.One bedroom with comfortable king sized bed. Living room, kitchen, and bathroom very clean and exactly as depicted in pictures.Angel, the manager was waiting in the parking area when we arrived and he walked us through the unit.Communicating thru VRBO answered all my questions immediately.I would stay here again.

Amazing Malibu getaway

Highly recommend this property. Amazing view. Very clean. Comfortable bed. My only criticism (very minor) is if you want to eat outside with a bigger table, seems like you need to book the two bedroom property . They still have patio chairs on the deck so you can enjoy the view while having to have tea and coffee. This is my third time and it never disappoints!

Nice place but older

Location location location. That is 100% It was clean but looks like the bones of it hasn’t been remodeled in 20+ years, ie cracks in ceiling, old school look definitely. Bed was comfortable though! The property manager here was amazing. His name is Angel and he was always around and so sweet and helpful.

Amazing ocean front but inside needs help!

We booked this property because of its proximity to Pepperdine. We flew to CA and rented a large car since we were moving our child into the dorms. The property was not able to accommodate a large SUV in the parking area. The onsite PM, Angel, who is super nice and helpful allowed us to park at the adjacent lot on the last night of our stay; otherwise we had to find parking along PCH. The ocean deck is a wonderful amenity but otherwise the property needs some attention. We had a soft spot in the subfloor (water damage) in front of the sink, ants in the bathroom and bedroom, plugs that arced and fried 2 charging cords. There is no overhead fan in the bedroom and no way to block the light from the sidewalk outside. There are two working portable fans and an overhead fan in the dining area. Bring eye mask if you need a dark room. It was difficult to get the bedroom very cool to sleep since we did not feel it safe to leave the back door open all night. The check in and check out were super easy and simple, but if you are concerned with safety, the locks are physically keyed (no electronic lock) and apparently not re-keyed between guests.

Beautiful property on the water. Unexpected charges.

Nice location walking distance to Malibu pier. Stairs that lead directly to a rocky beach, with sandy beach a quick walk away from there. Aviator Nation Dreamland is a fantastic restaurant walking distance, great happy hour specials. Duke's a short drive away was great as well. Garage and parking lot are tight, took a few times to get used to mavigating in and out of the spot. After our stay we were charged $50 for replacing 8 white towels and bathroom rug that had stains. We didn't do anything crazy, just normal walking and beach activities. Towels left on the ground picked up residual dirt, and rugs are meant to be stepped on. Feel like some bleach could have taken care of things. Overall great property and location, just be careful with towels and rug to avoid extra charges.

Great beach front property!! Thoroughly enjoyed the patio and relaxing to the sound of the ocean!! House was extremely clean and smelled fresh upon our arrival! Plenty of fresh, clean towels and kitchen supplies!! Bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! Angel met us at the property, showed us around and was extremely welcoming, friendly & helpful our entire stay!! Walking distance to Malibu pier and many restaurants! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we’re ever in the Malibu area! :)
