I liked the room I upgraded to stay in. You get what you pay for. What I didn’t like is that the office clerk tried to RIP me off and give me back a $20 deposit when I had left $40. After a while of reminding him of the amount that was left, he gave me my missing $20. That really rubbed me the wrong way.

Not clean. Everything was dirty. Zero window screens on the second floor. Roaches. Bed linen dirty. I didn’t even get under the sheet. I threw my person blanket on time of the covers. Man tried to finesse me for an extra $20 in case talking about “security deposit” and didn’t give me a receipt and then got an attitude when I said I’m taking a picture of the transaction. So yeah I would rather sleep in my car.

Definitely not a decent hotel for travelers. Worst than a hostel. No bathroom in the room. Not sure how this place meets city requirements for a hotel.
