While this claims to be a smoke free facility, there were still the lingering smell of smoke in stairwells and in our room. This was a situating that you get what you pay for. Bought the ticket at a discount and got a discount sleep. As a reminder, Visa Debit is not the same as Visa Credit. When you try to check in don't bother using the online checking, they will still manually check you in and if your card is a Visa debit it will not be accepted.

I got to my room at 7 PM. After we ordering food, I was tired. I fell asleep around 1 AM, but then the fire alarm goes on. I started to panic and went outside, but there was nothing wrong. I called the receptionist, and he said everything was fine and that someone taking a shower had the alarm on. After that, the alarm was constantly ringing all night. We couldn't sleep or get any rest, and nobody refunded us. This hotel is a scam. The staff is horrible, and the room was not as clean as expected. Please avoid this place.

I do not recommend staying here if you don’t like ants crawling out of the bathroom wall and all over your stuff. If this is your only option, please request to NOT be placed in room 115. Let’s see if I get a good discount, as it was under “manager’s discretion” and I was not told how much it would be.

The room was clean and completely adequate, as advertised and pictured. The price was fair. The area of the San Fernando Valley surrounding the motel pretty rough, old, and tired. Lots of traffic, too.

I was not aware of the $200 deposit required, despite how many times I looked at all the details provided on Expedia, nor did I have a credit card for the deposit, luckily they accepted cash for it. The bed sheet seemed to have something brown crusted onto it, but seeing as it was almost 2am when it was noticed, I was too tired to bring it up to the front desk. Decent amount of parking and other than those small details, it was an ok place to stay for the night. Did not take advantage of the morning breakfast.
