"We were welcomed from the moment we made the reservation and throughout our stay. Everything was perfect - the comfy bed, the beautiful French decor, the delicious healthy homemade breakfast, and of course, our gracious hosts. The Inn is well located in a nice neighborhood, and we took a nice stroll past a waterfall to the commercial district for dinner (if you go, bring your own wine). I highly recommend a stay at the Marquis de Montcalm Inn"

"The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very good. There are nice touches, such as the night light under the vanity in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. All the hotel staff we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was really nice; it’s a good size and the temperature was perfect. The gym is the best one I’ve seen, with new high-tech machines and very clean. We didn’t get a chance to try the spa, unfortunately. The only thing I suggest is that a grab bar be installed in the shower, because there is nothing to hold onto, and the shower floor is a little slippery."

"This hotel-motel is quite rustic but full of charm and character. If you expect this (and not a standardized chain hotel) you will love it. My bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and quiet, but the furniture is very outdated and quite worn out. I didn't like the spots on my couch. But I my bathroom was freshly renovated and very pleasant."

"Host was wonderfully accommodating - from special coffee to ride to a perfect restaurant. Beautifully decorated and resident pets were a delight. "
