The website did not tell us that it was their down season. Could not eat in any restaurant because each restaurant was only open 1 day a week and they all were booked. So we could only eat the buffet. They did not keep our refrigerator in the room filled with drinks as they said and it took them forever to clean up the dishes from outside our room when we ordered room service. Lastly, the room service options were extremely limited. Will not stay at Royalton ever again.

My room did overlook the pool and beach just a few problems I have alot of their restaurants are reservations only & sometimes you will end up forgetting during the day and you have to end up going to the buffet again or getting room service. Also I booked for 4 nights end up only doing 3 nights due to Jetblue making me miss my flight and I didn’t get any compensation back, no resort credit free massage nothing I also let them know it was my birthday in the reservations and I didn’t receive anything birthdayish. Other than that staff was amazing to me & my daughter.

This resort is definitely worth the money. It was just what me and my husband needed. Relaxing and quiet. It’s a place to bring your family. They have entertainment but it’s not an all night party which is what we were looking for. Our room was great nice and comfortable with the swim out pool. Amazing.

It’s cleanliness, location and beautiful beach areas. Each area catered its customers with food, drinks and entertainment. I didn’t like the food. I think the way some food is cooked needs to be looked at/considered. For example, it seemed as if most food was cooked using the same oil - cabbage, salt fish. The curried goat was too oily and when plated up, the oil turned hard. This wasn’t nice. However, the hotel provided some excellent choice of fresh fruit juices, orange, mixed fruit, pineapple to name but a few.

If you wernt a diamond club member you didn’t have access to a lot…. They treated us regular diamond club got everything. There was only 16 channels on TV and the restaurants fill up fast for reservations. It was literally an okay experience I just went for a wedding but I prob will never go to royalton again I’ve stayed at better locations in Jamaica in the past.

This was the worst experience staying in this hotel.. I had paid up my hotel before getting there. When I get there they made me pay a deposit. Which is okay. When I was going to checkout on checkout day. They made me pay an extra nights stay. Didn’t let me leave the hotel. Tried to keep me hostage until I paid. Although I already had paid for 4 night stay, called the police on me everything. Food was not good. Limited places to eat with no slots open for reservations. I had to change my room multiple times because the ac kept turning off. I smelled gas in my room. They didn’t restock my fridge for days. I had to keep calling the lobby. It was the worst experience. Save your money !!
