Overall, we had a good stay. The apartment felt very much like staying at a friendâs houseâcomfortable, lived-in, and full of character. Check-in was a little rocky, but after that everything went smoothly. The space was clean and clutter-free, though not deeply cleaned. The fridge had leftover food and the kitchen setup felt eclectic rather than a typical rental, which was convenient but a bit unexpected. There were lots of kidsâ books, clean towels, and a charming 1920s bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable.Sleep was the biggest challenge. Street noise was loud at night and streetlights shined into the main bedroom all nightâblackout curtains would help a lot. There was also a noticeable food smell. Tom was very helpful and checked in during our stay.Overall, it met our needs and offered a very authentic NYC living experience, but lighter sleepers should be aware of the noise and light.
