Was just odd having to check in at another location 1 mile away and the drive back a mile to the lodge. After being on the go since 4:30am it was just another aggravation. Staff was pleasant and room was clean A+

Quiet end of summer stay

Almost no customers. End of season. It took 40 minutes to get a room where the pass key would work. The cooling unit was too high for me to reach. Fortunately my 6' grandson was there to help. The cement step from parking were in poor condition. Potential trip hazards. But the room and bath were clean. The view and outside facilities were nice.

It was so bad! We arrived to check in. No place to check in. we called and the person said come up to the Grand View, which we did. The lady checked us in. we returned to the Winjammer. the room was a MESS! We took pictures and returned to the Grand View. Told the lady to cancel our stay!

Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10. Checking in took too long, then had to ask for receipt after paying in full when checked in. The cement steps leading to the rooms was broken and crumbling and the room air conditioner by the room door was dangerous. Someone could hit their head on it if not really careful.

Staff didn’t know how to make a key took 4 trys to get in a room bathroom had broken seat and wouldnt flush steps were broken and out of repair. High step to get in room . Room was not worth the price.

Excellent location for viewing the boats on the st Lawrence. We enjoyed spectacular weather so sat in chairs by the seaway and enjoyed a beverage upon arrival. In the morning sat at a picnic table and again just enjoyed the view. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and shower was new.

Nice water views and setting

Nice place to stay with terrific water views. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. At least when we stayed, check in and breakfast were nearby at the Gran View Inn (sister property), so not the most convenient - and the breakfast wasn't anything terrific, but the location definitely has a nice view and setting, along with all the other aspects we like in a place. Would we stay here again? Probably, esp if it's cheaper than the two nearby places closer to Ogdensburg. We enjoyed it.
