Bonjour, Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette maison bien qu'elle soit à plus de 20 minutes de la plage à pied. Beau grand salon et salle à manger accueillante. La chambre du bas est trÚs grande et les 2 autres sont correctes. La salle de bain du bas a besoin de beaucoup beaucoup d'amour (store à changer, cocking à refaire autour du bain (Urgent), bain trÚs petit...) I would stay here again!

We loved staying at this beach cottage. All ages had a good time. The kids liked having a room with multiple beds to be together. There was another room for the teens that was split for privacy. The master bedroom was on the main level and had plenty of room for a pack-and-play. There was a living room and a sunroom. Both sitting rooms had TVs, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The walk to the beach is a straight shot and not a hard walk. Our three year old did get tired, but everyone else was fine walking it multiple times. The walk to the pier was further and needed a wagon or stroller, but still fine for older kids, teens, and adults.I loved the cozy feel and decor. It reminded me of staying with my grandparents at their beach cottage as a kid. Everyone is asking when we can go back!

The worst beds I’ve ever slept on.

The location was great. And the house has a lot of potential. However the beds were the absolute worst. Extremely thin, uncomfortable and very noisy. Every time you moved it was LOUD and woke everyone in the room up. The shower blinds were broken right at the level you could see our private areas so it was very uncomfortable taking a shower. I went to dry my face with a towel after washing it and I had animal hair on my face. There was nothing in the kitchen, not even coffee. Which would have been nice to know before we got there. Check in and check out were very simple so that was nice. Unfortunately though I would not stay here again, not for the price we paid.

Charming beach house, needs a few updates

We had a good experience overall. Self check-in was easy and instructions were clear. The house has plenty of space (we were 2 adults, 2 small children) and is pretty well equipped (we appreciated that there was a washer-dryer, for example). However, it needs some updates (broken tiles, windows that don’t open, kitchen table that doesn’t close properly, etc.). It could also have been cleaner (inside door of microwave was dirty when we arrived and furniture was dusty). The best features were the enclosed yard (great for kids to play safely) with has a picnic table and nice bar area as shown in the pictures, and the living room, which is large and comfortable. The walk to the beach is a little longer than what you ideally want on a hot summer day but very feasible, even for our 5 year old (the beach is fantastic). We were there on an usually hot week (95F all week) and the house got very hot since there are AC units only in the bedrooms - but this would not be an issue with normal Maine summer temperatures.

Family Trip

We had a great time at Chelsea’s place. It was a nice walk to the beach and a short drive to whatever you needed. Chelsea was super responsive and helpful.

Great beach spot for young couples/ family!

My boyfriend is absolutely in love with this place, and so am I! He loves the location to the beach and the pier, though it is a walk it is very reasonable and a cheap Uber ride! He loves the space in the house and the outdoor bar was his favorite, it’s the perfect place to relax after a long day! While we both loved our stay, we noticed a large amount of beetles and bugs, understandable for a Maine stay, but something to note! The property was mostly clean, though we noticed the blinds were a dark gray from dust and use, and originally were white on the bottom. That being said I had a hard time breathing due to the dust with my asthma condition, nothing a little beach time wouldn’t cure!! The walk down to the beach was nice, there are some friendly people along the way and a great convenience store that has fantastic lunch! I enjoyed being at that part of the beach as well, it was less crowded and very pleasant!! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely book again! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable beach getaway!!
